“I LOVE this place!! I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant!! I LOVE the food, the half chicken tikka is to die for!! So delicious, so flavorful, and so good! It’s always the perfect place for lunch or dinner. I could eat here every day!! The family is also so kind and welcoming! They are polite, kind, generous, and sweet. I really appreciate their hospitality!! The tea is also to die for!! With the rose water in the tea, it’s divine!!! If I could recommend anywhere it would be here! Sahara, thank you!“
“Came in for dinner, I had chicken kebab, wife had falafel. Falafel was good. Chicken kebab platter was excellent.I recognize that most people probably order delivery from this place. I think that is a stupid decision. This food really deserves to be eaten fresh off the grill. It is a crying shame that the restaurant is as small as it is. Having said that, there are only four/five tables inside, so good luck.“
“We absolutely love this hidden gem restaurant! I’m fairly certain I could eat this food daily and still love it ❤️ The portions are huge and I love that it’s all cooked right there while you wait. The owner is so friendly, conversations with him are one of my favorite parts of visiting. We had a great discussion today about spices! Thank you so much for every great meal in your establishment. We will continue to return and tell others to give you a try!“
“This tiny restaurant inside the AIM supermarket changed hands in recent months and now offers Middle Eastern cuisine with an Egyptian influence. And for the month of the Ramadan holiday they have a dinner buffet, which is a great opportunity to try "home cooking" dishes that you will typically not find on restaurant menus.Though I believe you can still order from the regular menu, if you so choose. There is a nice selection of appetizers, three soups, vegetarian stews, chicken and lamb entrees. The dessert section is very basic. But overall, the selection is better and more extensive than other Ramadan buffet dinners in the city. The service is very friendly, and the staff was happy to answer questions. But it's all pretty informal. If you want a soda, you get it from the fridge yourself. If they don't have the beverage you want, you can get it from the supermarket where the restaurant is at.Note that the place is very casual. It was the cafeteria area of the Marsh Supermarket that used to be there before going out of business a few years ago.Bottomline - don't miss the holiday buffet for an unusual culinary experience.Vegetarian options: The buffet had appetizers (hummus, baba ganoosh, tahini, potato salad), two vegetables salads, two different lentil soups, three veggie hot dishes, and desserts)“
“Sammy has been very kind and helpful in preparing vegetarian meals for me three times now, including making a great and successful effort to prepare a to go order to be safely carried for a mile of walking.Vegetarian options: Hummus and falafel, though the hummus wasn't available one of the three times I have been there.“
“I ordered a falafel pita via Uber Eats. I can’t comment on the restaurant itself, but the pita was amazing! It was large and stuffed with lots of goodies. Also came with lots of free sauces. I’m trying to eat vegetarian more, which is what made me try the falafel. I’ll definitely be getting it again.“
“We were in Indianapolis for a weekend and found this restaurant which had halal food. We had the take out order of their mixed grill.Everything on the mixed grill plate was perfection including the accompaniments. This platter can feed 3 hungry adults. All the meats were juicy, smoky and the rice was very flavorful. The sauces and the pickles worked in harmony with the meats.Must try spot for everyone that like middle eastern flavors“
“Really excellent and unique menu, great selection and fantastic service. The chicken is on my mind weekly. It's a mediterranean place, so don't expect the burger to be the best thing on the menu. The feta potatoes are a must for sides.“
“I get the classic shawarma It's made to order and is the perfect portion the fries are good If I'm not in a hurry I'll get the rice it's great. I usually go midweek around 2ish never had an issue after going there more than a couple of times I thought I'd review and recommend, keep up the great work Petra “
“Delicious Yemeni food. Wonderfully rich with flavor. not spicy. Staff will help you decide what to try. My favorite so far is the fasah. We're looking forward to saltah as a fall dish, too. Although they were super busy with to go orders, the atmosphere was still very friendly and casual. Highly recommend!“
“Zabiha Halal food with authentic Karachi / Pakistani taste. Big portions, just the right spices, choicest of menus, both veg and non veg, delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly and courteous customer service! Chic, warm decor and ambience. Has two Carom board seating and a table tennis table. Great for family and friends to sit down, enjoy food and play Carom or tennis table while waiting for food to be served or end the evening with a delicious cup of Kashmiri Chai. Excellent mixed grill platter and the biryani was made of this heavenly Sela rice! Strongly recommend it!“
“I went here for the Sunday lunch buffet a few weeks ago. They had a really good selection of food on their buffet. The only one recommendation I would say is the food was not warm on the buffet so it could definitely been warmer. I also did order a, sizzler platter that had kebabs, chicken tikka and a few other things. All of them were delicious but by far my favorite was the kebab.“
“First time I visited this spot we dined in. It was very small and tables were too close for my comfort which is why I gave 3 stars. It is very quaint and service was prompt. The food is exquisite and very true to cultural expectations which was refreshing and enjoyable!Since our first time I have ordered through DoorDash several times and have ordered the chicken kabobs.“
