“I am not usually inclined to leave a review, but I feel as tonight's visit warrants a call out. As a parent that has a child with a gluten allergy we know the struggles of finding places out to eat. We have had Azzip a few times, but have always ordered ahead of time online then drove to the store to pick it up. This evening, we found ourselves out on errands and in the area and decided Azzip had been a safe choice in the past so we made our way there. The store was not busy, but there people ahead of us and behind us and I felt the protocol followed didn't slow the process terribly but I want to commend the staff for taking it seriously. What I witnessed: 2 people working the line making the pizza on the "ingredients" side of the oven. my kid informed them of the gluten free need and they asked if it was preference or allergy. my kid informed them of allergy. they cleared the line of the previous pizza being made once cleared, they stripped their gloves and cleaned the work space and the sauce bottle my kid wanted on their pizza a cooking mat from a separate area was produced and the cauliflower crust requested was added all the toppings requested were added then the pizza was placed in the oven. there was communication to the receiving team member that an allergen pizza was coming afterwards, my other kid and my pizza were started only after the 1st was placed in the oven. after the gluten free pizza came out of the oven, I noticed the cutting instrument was different than what was used for the other pizzas we ordered. Our experiences thus far is many people don't understand what Celiac disease is and how gluten can harm the body of those affected. It is more than just the ingredients consumed; cross contamination is the true problem. Seeing the team execute the procedure with care warmed my heart as I know it takes a lot of effort to create the process, then train to it and then to follow it. My appreciation to the team! We will definitely be back!“

“Ordered two pizzas and a salad last night through DoorDash. I hadn’t tried Azzip or even heard of it yet but the specialty pizzas looked interesting so I gave it a shot. Wow. Azzip is going on my list of favorite pizza 💯 I tried the Smokehouse MacDaddy and CBR square. Flavor explosion and perfect crust on both! I also tried the house ranch dressing and it was top notch. I need a bottle of it! I rarely leave reviews but had to say something about this pizza!“

My husband ordered the Jerk Chicken Pizza, and let me tell you, the food was beyond delicious. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, the curry flavor was on point, and the portions? Hearty and satisfying! By my third slice, I was full – which is rare for most pizza spots. We couldn’t even wait to get home. We parked and enjoyed the pizza in the car (it’s that good). “I've went to Bazbeaux off in on for a portion of my life. But I've never appreciated it when it was in front of me. I stopped in to kill time. I was blown away. Their garlic break with cheese was both tasty and complex. And their Spicy Bee pizza was so good. Pizza with hot honey can really be off with the spice or the honey. Here, the spice and sweetness were both apparent, not hiding behind the other. Big props to my server too. He was the only waiter for 6 tables. When it was time for my check, he already had it printed in his apron. Some of the best service I've had in some times.“

Picked up an order of nachos today to go and ask for chips on the side. while I was waiting for my order… I watched a kid try to fit chips in to a pizza box several times, crushing chips. Then, moved to a bag but the actual nachos was too hot for a bag. He moved back to the nachos in pizza box and chips in separate bag. When my name came up and I realized this is my order, I asked for new unbroken bag of chips and the kid denied crushing my chips. He even asked why I didn’t stop him if I was sitting there watching him. I said I didn’t know it was my order but I thought it might be. All happened to fast. Stopped by Upland Brewing on 82nd Street and overall had a good experience. If you’re into craft beer—especially IPAs—this place delivers. I’m a big fan of their IPAs, and they didn’t disappoint.

Food Highlights & Lows:
• Wings: A bit too salty and vinegary for my liking, and slightly dry.
• Fries: 🍟 Solid and enjoyable — crispy and well done.

Best Part: The beer. Great IPA selection and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to hang out and enjoy a pint.

Takeaway: A great place for craft beer, especially IPAs. Food was hit or miss, but I’d definitely come back for the brews. 🍺“

“We've enjoyed the food from here several times, but it's always been some form of pizza and salad. Tonight, Shirley Cooley and I got a salad, and a couple of their fresh-made sandwiches. We got the Chicken Teriyaki, and the Chicken Bacon Ranch. They were so full of flavor and fresh ingredients. Now, we're torn between their pizza and their sandwiches. The manager (Diane) threw in a large order of wings, refunded our money, AND gave us a $20 gift card. Now THAT'S customer service! The food was absolutely delicious, too.
