Great little locally owned and operated spot for coffee and sammies. Friendly staff and good vibes all around.
The return of the soup and sandwich! I LOVE this spot for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The staff and owner are very nice, and the syrup choice for coffees are good. I love going in to look at books, and play cards. The natural light from all the windows is awesome; bike racks right outside are convenient. Staffing seems sparse so coming in with a little patience is good. I hope this cafe is the permanent replacement for the Thirsty Scholar.
I'm glad this corner spot is open again. It does feel sad compared to what it was, though. No more original art on the walls, it's this live laugh love homegoods stuff, even though indy is brimming with talented artists.

Tailwind Cafe is a spot for breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and the return of the soup and sandwich is noted. The staff and owner are very nice, and the syrup choice for coffees are good. The cafe has lots of used books to choose from and a lending library to browse. The natural light from all the windows is awesome, and bike racks right outside are convenient. The drinks are well made, and the coffee is excellent. The sandwiches and other assortment selection are always fresh and flavorful. The place always maintains a bright and clean atmosphere, and there is a good amount of seating with free wi-fi. The staff is friendly, incredibly friendly and attentive, and the team is very friendly. The airplane themed option is a fun overall experience and a definite place to go for a treat. Staffing seems sparse so coming in with a little patience is good. The cafe is a perfect spot to grab a bite and relax, and a place to get some work done or unwind.
