“We used The Copper Room at Orange Clover for a baby shower for a first time momma to be. I just cannot find the words for how wonderful the experience was. First off, the staff, absolutely phenomenal. Every single person I talked to (I’m sorry I don’t remember names, my memory is lacking currently) was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate every single one of you. Second, the food was perfect and delicious. Third, the room itself was everything I hoped it would be and more. The team working helped us make everything absolutely perfect. I cannot imagine a better place to have an event-from the staff, the food, to the location and the service. Beyond grateful for you all! Thank you so so much! ☺️“

“Great food for carnivores and vegetarians. I chose to go while in the area because their menu made specific mention of special consideration for vegetarians. Not only did they make a point of labeling food that was vegetarian, they also had options that could enhance some of the vegetarian dishes. I found the combination of ingredients for the nachos to be really good and the option for fried tofu to be a unique and great choice. I ate way more than I should but they were really good… and had a high level of plant based protein which is hard to find in most vegetarian dishes.“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“I was so excited to try Ata, the new Chef Dave Danielson‘s restaurant located right off of 264 and Brownsboro Road. Right away, we were greeted by the manager Cesar, who is always so welcoming and knows hospitality. We tried the brown butter washed old-fashioned. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was absolutely fantastic. What a great way to update this classic drink. I ordered the striped bass while my friend ordered the chicken. We couldn’t resist ordering the gnocchi to split between us, knowing we would have some leftovers. Let me tell you, every thing was simply delicious and well thought out with all the different taste elements in perfect harmony. Trust me, the leftovers that we had did not go to waste. The gnocchi is one of the best I’ve ever tried, so light and fluffy with a delicious sauce. Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly how it should be. The server was very attentive, but gave us time in between courses to chat and have a true fine dining experience! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves good food, and a plus, the prices were very reasonable.“

And if that makes you not want to eat here, you are a damaged person... This food is amazing. As in, making a good run for best burgers in the city amazing. “This place is a 10/10! The atmosphere and staff were AMAZING!! We came to Louisville for the day to find my wedding dress. After I said yes to the dress we decided to try Mussel and Burger Bar! They made my day 1000x extra special, took care of my food and drinks, and even gave me a platter of desserts to try! We are coming back to Louisville for my bachelorette and we will definitely be visiting this place again! The seafood burger was also delicious!“

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“

“Tried this for the first time today and loved it! Just when I felt there were no new interesting spots in downtown Louisville, a friend recommends InSeason. Yes! “Bourbons Bistro has long been a favorite, and we had another great experience. It was date night, and we started with drinks at the bar. I enjoyed a Manhattan, and my date enjoyed an Old Fashioned. Both were nicely crafted. We were seated immediately at our table for our reservation time, and started with the goat cheese dip. It was flavorful, the consistency of the dip was perfect, and the toasted bread was done just right. For dinner I had the filet of beef, medium rare. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the fingerling potatoes were seasoned just right. My date enjoyed the Bourbons Chop, also cooked to perfection, and he stated the haricots verts was the best he ever had. Our server was great, and we enjoyed an amazing meal. Afterwards we moved back to the bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks provided by the Blue Run distiller bar take over. We had a great night out and Bourbons remains one of my favorite restaurants.“

We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“

“We visited here for a birthday party earlier today. The girl who waited on us was named Kaylee. She was fantastic. However there were 30+ of us and she was running the show alone. The kitchen mixed up our food and we had missing food. She was running 95% of the food to us and got ALL of our drinks by herself. She was the only server assigned to us and she did ALL the work. As a server myself for 10+ years that's absolutely ridiculous. I've always shared a party that large with another server and if for some reason I was on my own my coworkers helped me with drinks and helped run food. She had no team players except ONE time a young lady helped by bringing two appetizers to the table. A manager should always come see how service and food is before the party leaves and we didn't see a manager for the 3 hours we were there. Thank you to Kaylee for handling the party on her own, you were fantastic ma'am.“

We had the appetizer skewers $13 which were delicious and the chocolate tahini cake $11 which really surprised us flavor wise. We did not leave feeling overly full which is good since we were there for the show.I highly recommend it for one more reason. Location. It makes getting to the theatre so much easier!!!“
