Galaxy Mexican Restaurant offers great food, though some portions are small and there is no air conditioning. The Quesabirria is highly recommended. The restaurant is appreciated for being open late, with amazing food that comes out super quickly and friendly staff. A spread of tacos and Mexican Cokes was perfect and beyond any expectation for ordering food after midnight in Lafayette. The burrito is outstanding, the lady at the front is the sweetest, and the atmosphere is very pretty with a nice flower wall. The food is amazing, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The tacos are packed with juicy, well-marinated meat, and the rice and beans are delicious and cooked just right. Portions are generous and every bite has authentic flavor. An order including Birria Pizza, Campechano Tacos, Rice and Beans, Chicken Tacos, Chorizo Tacos, Huarache, Tostadas de Tinga, Carnitas Supreme Burrito, and a Birria Burrito came with green and red salsa, consumme, and extra onions+cilantro. Everything was fantastic, the green salsa was super creamy and spicy, the corn tortillas are handmade and taste great, and it all was reasonably priced. One visit was disappointing: the food was okay, an extra rice request was given extra beans instead, and the young guy at the front was busy on his phone and messed up the order.
