“I am not usually a Mexican food person but yesterday I decided to order some. I searched around for some place we have not ordered from before (mainly because I haven’t liked anywhere). We ordered through door dash from here. We got Pollo Fiesta, chimichangas, pollo con arroz, elotes and salsa and cheese dip. Mind blown… this food was SOOO good! Even through doordash (which was fast and fresh!). This is now my family’s go to restaurant! My only disappointment is I didn’t order their guacamole because what was on the chimichangas was the best we’ve ever had! I’m definitely recommending this place to everyone. We will be coming in to eat soon. I have also seen on the Nextdoor App others saying how great their experience was there too.“
“This little restaurant is very authentic and sits off of Veterans Memorial parkway. It's a little awkward to get to the parking lot but once you find it, you will not be disappointed! This is a favorite of mine since I have found them because the food is always hot and fresh and made with love. There is always a lot of local traffic in and out of the restaurant that gave me my first clue that this place might have something special. Speaking of specials, they always have a daily special and sometimes two. Today I went with the Carnitas Gorditas and they were delicious! As usual I had already taken a bite before my picture so I apologize. Maybe that should be my thing? "One bite everyone knows the rules" oh wait that's another guys Schtick! Anyways, from the salsa bursting with flavor and the always delicious meal I have every time I visit, I think you should give them a try. Todays rating would of got a 5 star but the service was a little care free and I got a little lost even though I was sitting right by the register. And... she never brought me any silverware good thing I only had finger food!“

Daily specials.Parking: Front door parking and extra parking at side of building. Gets busy at normal eating times but there is extra parking behind building.Kid-friendliness: Grandkids have eaten here with us before.Wheelchair accessibility: Daughter is wheelchair bound and we have no problem eating here because it has ground level entry.“
“01/17/24- Señor Tacos didn't sound Mexican to me. My wife had been wanting to take me because I'm picky about the Mexican restaurants here.I'm glad I went. You walk in and you can seat yourself at any clean table. It says so when you walk in.My wife loves Horchata and that's the first thing she ordered. I asked about the special's but they have the same price and menu all day.They bring chips and salsa while you wait. The salsa isn't hot, so you can enjoy the wait. It's homemade and a knock off or store bought.Our server was Nancy. She was great. She made recommendations on the different combos and explained what I get with the different combos.The menu has lots to choose from. I like the Molcajete because it has a little bit of everything. I love cactus and grilled jalapeños. I like shrimp, chicken, carnitas, asada and chorizo.My wife got the chicken fajitas. You can share them as they give you plenty. They're not stingy with the chicken, so you're not stuck with bell peppers ?They bring out two different salsas to go with the meal. One was green and the other tasted like habanero. Use a chip to try them. I think the spice is perfect for the heat but still enjoy the food.Nancy checked on us and we were never out of drink. She is pleasant and has been there for years. Thanks to the service and delicious food I told my wife I think this is our place!Vegetarian options: One will find a vegetarian dish. It's not a problem there as any dish can be made to order.“

“very kind owners, will definitely come to eat!we didn’t dine here, but i doordash and picked up an order from here and not only did it smell amazing inside, the lady at the counter was nice enough to offer us drinks and candy for free, just for picking up the order. this made our day, you don’t see this kind of generosity often these days. we really appreciate it on this rainy day. we will definitely be back to give them our business, birria ramen looked good!“
“I am so glad we came across this restaurant while visiting Purdue University. My family and I love Mexican food and my teenage daughter is a al Pastor fan. She rated theirs right up there with some of the best we have had in Mexico. Perfectly seasoned. With chunks of pineapple. Great ice cream too.“
“First time having it today and I got 2 Chorizo tacos and 2 Lengua tacos as well as a Horchata. They FILL these tacos up. I’m so happy my wife and I finally went. Pricing is on par with quality and quality is phenomenal. These aren’t tote $1.50 tacos. Wonderful 10/10“
“I have eaten at just about every Mexican restaurant in lafayette and west lafayette and El Mason has the best Mexican food in my opinion, very fast service and always nice, the restaurant has a very authentic atmosphere and one of the things that make me go to El Mason is you get refried beans and rice with your burrito and a bag of tortilla chips, this is the only Mexican restaurant in town that offers you all that with your order, cudos to El Mason, its nice to actually give a restaurant a good review especially in this area, they also give a %10 discount to Purdue students and staff“
