“Catfish dinner was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Still piping hot when I got home. Fries were delicious. A real side of coleslaw, not just a tiny pill cup. My dinner was packaged with care. Even gave me hand wipes, packaged plastic ware and REAL napkins, not flimsy toilet paper squares. First time customers get a free drink. I will definitely return. Very clean.“

“All the steaks were undercooked. When I told the waitress that it was not making my belly feel very good, she said it looked good to me. I would have eaten it. Medium Rare is not maroon deep red. I ordered the sirloin and shrimp. My kids had the kids' sirloin, and my son had a sirloin. When I complained and told them I didn't want anything else I felt sick from eating it that way the couple bites to get to the middle where it was super rare she came back with a bill and charged me for a shrimp meal. I had to argue with her and ask for a manager who did the charging of the shrimp meal, so I complained again. I told them I didn't come to a steakhouse to get a shrimp and wanted a good cooked steak they finally complied and comped my meal. I also told them my kids' steaks were not done right. My oldest ate them, though, because he can do more rare. Was overall a bad experience, I have been there several times over the years as we travel through going up Michigan and never experienced anything like this. I'm not sure we will stop again it has gone downhill.“

“The food was simply AMAZING … the best kebab platter I have ever had … and the hospitality shown by the owner Zozy was wonderful .. she was super friendly and provided us with wonderful service. Would most def go here again as the food was just too good… it was packed with flavour and absolutely food coma worthy … the meat platter is drool worthy and the fries are the best I’ve probably wver had. “This just happens to be my favorite place to go grab a bite to eat have a delicious cocktail and watch a game or take it to the floor or just share some laughter with my Flossy Posse. The food is great the drinks are great and the Dj's are the best ! I call it a good vibe. It is true that Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. “Came here on a Sunday afternoon.
From the hostess to the waitress, everyone was friendly. We ordered steak and potato, and both were absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to our liking, and the baked potato was big and good. What caught our eye was the old Mason Jars used for beverages, large and classic. It was definitely an enjoyable experience.“

“Went here for my birthday, However left very disappointed.. Orders came out wrong, food was not very good. Was charged gratuity but did not have 6 people. “Hostess was RUDE and very UNORGANIZED!

If I didn't like the food so much, I would have walked right out.

I walked into the Longhorn restaurant in Merriville, IN, and the hostess (an older woman, wearing a black & green blouse
on 11/9/24 at approximately 1 pm in the afternoon) was as RUDE as a person could be.

The restaurant was very busy and she seemed to be disturbed by this. She kept trying to detour people by telling them that wait times were longer than they actually were. When she noticed I wasn't going to leave, she told me and my guest to just have a seat. She didn't take my name down, so I asked if she was going to. So, at this point, she asked for my name but did not type or write anything down.
I didn't push the issue because it was clear she was having a bad day.
However, I did monitor the order in which people were arriving because I noticed that this hostess was not.

When a table opened up, she would call people out of order and customers had to tell her who was next.

My goodness!

Once we got past this debacle, things ran much more smoothly in terms of the server and cooks.

Parking: I noticed that there were many take out spots in front of the restaurant that were not utilized. This area, in my opinion, should be dedicated to seniors and disabled persons.

The restaurant may not realize this, but there are many disabled people that come to eat there, so it only makes sense. Designating just four or five spots on the side of the restaurant away from the entrance is not very accommodating to senior citizens or disabled persons.“
