“Great place to be very fun and good people“

“We randomly stopped here on our way home for a quick bite to eat and to avoid Chicago rush hour. We ordered the Italian beef. Let me just say IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! It was super yummy! I spoke with a cook and they cook it overnight. Our server Mandy was friendly and took good care of us. Food was great and cheap compared to many other places. The atmosphere was laid back. I definitely would come back again just to eat. Seriously, if you want good food or a good sandwich. Stop and get their Italian beef!“

“I was looking for a close spot to have a cold beer and grab a bite to eat in-between my daughters volleyball games and stumbled upon the gem called R Place. This spot is great! I was told that they have been in business 42 years! WOW, and I can see why. They are very friendly and treat you well. The food is fantastic and the locals are very laid back and make you feel welcome as well. If I was local to the area, this bar would be my base! “We ordered delivery. At first look, my dish (the ceviche) looked delicious, vibrant, and fresh. Sadly, it was pretty bland and flavorless. BUT it did seem some care was taken with the preparation, and I appreciated that it seemed freshly made!

We had some special instructions for the chimichangas which weren’t followed, but my son said it still was really good and seemed good quality :-)

We also ordered horchata, but that was never delivered.“

“My first time here at La Carreta. I’m going to say that the quality of the food is good. I order a Taco loco Combo. The flavor of the Carne Asada was delicious and the Chorizo as well. The Carnitas need more flavor. The corn tortillas were amazing you can taste that are made in the tortillería no from package. On the rice flavor is good but on the refried Beans would be better if were refried with Lard not with Oil. But other that Food is really good and service.“

“Dining in at Chili's just isn't what it used to be. We were pleased with the food and our service. A male server, who was simple yet efficient in his care of his tables. We came on a weekday for a late lunch. But the ambiance was so blah. Employees were having sidebar conversations, diners were speaking loudly and inappropriately. Meanwhile, others were on cell phones having conversations, and others were playing videos on phones without earbuds. There was just a lot going on. I'll definitely do takeout moving forward, but won't dine in.“
