“We randomly stopped here on our way home for a quick bite to eat and to avoid Chicago rush hour. We ordered the Italian beef. Let me just say IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! It was super yummy! I spoke with a cook and they cook it overnight. Our server Mandy was friendly and took good care of us. Food was great and cheap compared to many other places. The atmosphere was laid back. I definitely would come back again just to eat. Seriously, if you want good food or a good sandwich. Stop and get their Italian beef!“

I was told that they have been in business 42 years! WOW, and I can see why. They are very friendly and treat you well. The food is fantastic and the locals are very laid back and make you feel welcome as well. If I was local to the area, this bar would be my base! “Visited for the first time a few weeks ago on karaoke night and am still telling others about the positive experience I had! Amanda and Moe (or AMMO for short 😁)were my servers that night and they couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. I had seen Joe, the karaoke host, at another establishment before and knew what to expect. He does an excellent job of hosting and uses better equipment than many of the bars around here, which enhances the performing and listening experience. The only "bad" thing I can say about Tommy B's is I wish they offered food after 10PM, even if it was just appetizers. Thank you, AMMO and Joe for a great night! Look forward to coming back soon!“

“My first time here at La Carreta. I’m going to say that the quality of the food is good. I order a Taco loco Combo. The flavor of the Carne Asada was delicious and the Chorizo as well. The Carnitas need more flavor. The corn tortillas were amazing you can taste that are made in the tortillería no from package. On the rice flavor is good but on the refried Beans would be better if were refried with Lard not with Oil. But other that Food is really good and service.“
