“I really love the Artist's Cafe. It's one of my favorite places to visit in Chicago - generally for breakfast before shopping at Artist and Craftsman Supply and the Art Institute. My family of four had breakfast Saturday morning before our walk through Grant and Millennium Parks and visiting the AIC. My son had the Alaska Pancakes - pancakes with vanilla ice cream (it's vacation, he's 18, don't judge) and my daughter the croissant french toast. Both looked amazing and were delicious. We had the Athenian omelet - super fresh and tasty - and I had one of their specials, the Swedish pancakes with lingonberries and ham. Really good and I generally hate pancakes but it sounded good (thin and lingonberries). Service was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Brought extra lingonberry sauce and kept the coffee coming to power us through our day! Walked by later in the day, and saw lunch. Didn't go in but my daughter said, "next time! and can't she (diner) just pass over a fry! Yum!"“
“Great food try the biscuits and gravy, humorous menu, and more than fair prices. You will love it if it's your style and hate it if it's not really don't think there's any in between with these people LOL overall I enjoyed it will definitely go back“

“Just got out of the hospital and didn't feel like cooking. My husband decided that we would give Taphouse a try. Boy am I glad we decided to try this little gem. The service was fast, friendly, and the food was phenomenal!!!We had the prime rib dinner that came with a salad and baked potato. Everything was just awesome! And the best hamburger that I can ever remember eating. We are looking forward to trying more options. I am thinking about seafood next. We were very well pleased“
“Pit stop at this little spot, it's Friday night so didn't know what to expect. Walked in thinking there was a dj bc the music was so loud and the smoke was filling the entire bar. But that was just from cigarettes, lol! There wasn't many people here, it's almost midnight, but the music was loudddd and it was throwback bangers and the regulars were livin it up.. one girl started twerkin on the bar top, not jokin. Mandy served us and she was super sweet! Kitchen looked open but we didn't order. We were hesitant to use the line with the tequila shot to be honest..“
“I don’t do this often but,This by far was the best Mexican food I have had in at least a decade! We had a phenomenal server (Laura), and the owner was so sweet and came to meet us after we were raving about the food.I love nothing more than supporting small businesses who deserve it!❤️Seriously. Don’t wait. Go for lunch or dinner! Our suggestions: the cheesesteak tacos were PHENOMENAL, and the enchiladas were super good as well! Can’t say enough good things!“
“Amazing food! Sunday’s there’s a big buffet and everything we had was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere felt like I was back in the Philippines. They even have karaoke!!! Too bad we live 5 hrs away but totally worth the drive. Will be our main Filipino spot from here on out. The owners were so kind and welcoming. Wanted to stay longer but we had a long drive. Highly recommend to Filipino’s that want to not only to eat authentic filipino food, but also for the vibe. 10/10!!!“
“Real homemade food, I had the Chili Cheese Dogs W Fries $5.00 It was all I could eat, and I am a big man. Then I tried there club sandwich that had bacon, beef, turkey, lettuce, and some kind of sauce. $5.00 W Fries or chips. The chili outstanding !!! Never had a bad meal there. They usually have specials everyday. Small and cozy bar. If you've never been, you should try it K.C.'s Bar and Grill in Hobart, In.“
