“Real homemade food, I had the Chili Cheese Dogs W Fries $5.00 It was all I could eat, and I am a big man. Then I tried there club sandwich that had bacon, beef, turkey, lettuce, and some kind of sauce. $5.00 W Fries or chips. The chili outstanding !!! Never had a bad meal there. They usually have specials everyday. Small and cozy bar. If you've never been, you should try it K.C.'s Bar and Grill in Hobart, In.“

“Just got out of the hospital and didn't feel like cooking. My husband decided that we would give Taphouse a try. Boy am I glad we decided to try this little gem. The service was fast, friendly, and the food was phenomenal!!!We had the prime rib dinner that came with a salad and baked potato. Everything was just awesome! And the best hamburger that I can ever remember eating. We are looking forward to trying more options. I am thinking about seafood next. We were very well pleased“

“The atmosphere is mostly mid to upper age. Mixed music genre. Staff/servers are amazing and very attentive. They served the best chicken sandwich ever. Drinks were refreshing and reasonably priced. The establishment was very clean. Will definitely return.“

In this industry we deal with a multitude of personalities, and any professional bartender would smile and treat every customer with respect. Regardless. It's how we (bartenders) make our money. “I just had my 10 year wedding anniversary there. It was exactly the vibe we wanted. It’s beautiful on the inside, a nice full service bar, excellent service from the staff, and the food was incredible! It was a nice, chill, atmosphere that we could still turn up in. “2nd time visiting this bar. Cool bar, However, if you want to donate to charity leave your items unattended. I blame myself and not Fatsos (I'm not blaming Fatso but the destitute Gary residents). I forgot people in Gary, IN are broke and need to steal your items to pay for basic necessities. I fill sorry for the destitute person the stole my personal belonging and hope it delays them from getting evicted. Enjoy!“

“This is the only place I go when I visit Portage! I'm addicted to crispy wings, and you will NOT find better crispy Wings anywhere else. I get them dry with a side of hot sauce, and their hot sauce is amazing?. Perfect heat, and a subtle fruity aftertone. Bartender is awesome, friendly, and the food always comes out quick. I can only vouch for the wings, because I haven't and won't order anything else.“
