“This papa johns has very hard working staff who are under paid! I visited this location on Halloween to get a jack o lantern pizza for my kids and when I arrived it was a mad house inside everyone busting butt working fast making pizzas. The lobby was full the customers were getting rude the screens were beyond full Everytime the workers printed out a page of tickets another page was ready to go. The manger kept apologizing to the rude customers who couldn't clearly see and understand they staff was already working as hard and fast as they could with a full oven and full racks of pizzas to place in already. My wait time was only 35 minutes even with all this going on. So way to go papa johns of lake station. 5 starts for sure! Oh and the pizza looked and tasted great“

“I have been coming to JJ's for about 15 years and only when we visit lake station usually at Christmas time what's so great about it is the people there and their pizzas it's one of the best I've ever tasted now what this time we ordered a supreme there was so much honor I don't see how they make any money but the first pizza 15 years ago I got to eat was at Christmas time and it was called the kitchen sink wonderful people I don't see why nobody goes anywhere else and I'm serious friendly people good food I just don't give it five stars I give it 10“

“After years of driving by, we finally stopped in for dinner. WOW! Everything was delicious. Mixed drinks were done right, salad was fresh, and our entrees were fantastic! It was Chicago quality food hidden in Burns Harbor, IN. Tiramisu was just the way we like it and the service, from the Hostess to our Waitress, were friendly and helpful. It's a small and popular restaurant so be prepared to wait...but it is totally worth it!“

“I won a gift card from Indiana 105.5 a while back, so we were having a family birthday party for my daughter last night. I ordered the very extra large t’s meats and the stuffed crust pepperoni. “Flamingos has been in town for a long time. Nice little cozy place. A good perch dinner. We like a thin crust pepperoni pizza. “Stayed in Portage after visiting the Indiana Dunes. Ordered pizza to the hotel. Driver delivered directly to the room, the pizza was AMAZING! We also got the cherry dessert pizza which was the single best dessert pizza I’ve ever had (think warm gooey cherry cheesecake pizza)“

“This restaurant was awesome. We walked in w a whole soccer team and parents and was accommodated. The owner and staff were very attentive and the food was amazing. The prices were very low for the quality and quantity of food you receive. It is all around a great value.“

“Ordered the turkey leg, rib tips, and royal burger. Everything was good. The owner is so pleasant. He gave sample jerk tips while we waited and upgraded an order of our fries to garlic parmesan. As the kids say, it was bussin! We originally wanted the cherry chicken sandwich, but they were all out, so they upgraded us to the royal burger. I highly recommend it! The homemade sauce was really good. Different from what I am used to, and it paired nicely with the turkey. I will be back to try other things!“

“My family and I love JJ's! And if you haven't tried their version of stuffed crust pizza...it.is.a.MUST! We usually get a sausage and pepperoni stuffed crust and the whole pizza comes with a layer of crust on top! Not a thick layer, just enough to 'stuff' the pizza with delicious ingredients. They have pretty good mild/hot wings and they staff is always courteous. They messed up our order one time and we had driven to pick it up and didn't notice the mistake until we got home. We called them and they offered to deliver our order to us, no charge!“

“Pizza here is definitely tasty. A little doughy so it’s not the typical thin crust tavern style you find at a lot of small shops.

It’s inside a gas station. Order in person or over the phone. Pay at the gas station cashier. Bring back your receipt to the pizza counter to grab your pizza.

It was fast and friendly service. Clean and smells amazing inside.

I got the beef and onion along with a specialty pizza, the taco pizza.

I enjoyed the taco pizza. Very tasty except it’s a hard one to warm up the next day due to the lettuce and tomato.

The beef and onion was decent. It doesn’t have a strong flavor. Just enough to make you wanting more. Again, lots of dough so it fills you up quickly.“

My son wanted ketchup with his wings, they weren’t busy so she had an employee run next door to get some. It was completely unnecessary as we were going to stop, but she was so thoughtful and wanted to ensure we’d get back on the road quickly. Her customer service was outstanding and much appreciated“

“I have been to this location a couple times the first time everything was right at expectations for Beggars Pizza. However when I visited 10/31/2024 it wasn't the best experience I pre-ordered a deep dish and boneless wings for 645pm. With this pre-order it gave the establishment over an hour to prepare my food. When I arrived my order was still not ready and I was given an ETA of 15 minutes this was kind of annoying but I understood it was Halloween and they did seem pretty busy. When I first arrived there was a small box up on the heater and the lady working the desk when asking the kitchen about my order only inquired about the pizza. I was so worried that my wings were already prepared in that small box and that the quality would be terrible. I was hoping they would do the right thing and re make them but they didn't and those were my wings and they were in fact not good. The lady at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and even though my order was sitting ready in the window when I returned she disappeared to the back area making me wait longer for the order I placed at this point about an hour and 40 mins for. She just needed to man her position and get the orders out that she did already have in the hot window. That was pretty annoying but overall I would go back just for the pizza because that wasn't bad I just would have liked the kitchen timing to be better so all parts of my order came out hot and fresh.“

“Unfortunately I hadn’t been ordering from this Rosati’s, although it’s been in my backyard. I’d had it in the past but due to unhappiness with service, and seeing negative reviews I hadn’t ordered in years.

This past weekend I had a specific craving for Chicago style thin crust pizza. My spouse suggested we give it a try. Wow! It blew us both away by how good the pizza was. It was everything we wanted and more. The “fabulous four” (Italian sausage, mushroom, green pepper, and onion) was mouthwateringly delicious! The Italian sausage savory and the veggies were so fresh. It was even better the next day, reheated in our toaster oven. The other pizza was fantastic too. Along with the few appetizers we ordered. Their marinara sauce tastes so fresh and is the perfect balance of savory and just a hint of sweet.

I cannot believe we haven’t been ordering from here for so long but now that we’ve had it again and tasted the quality we will be loyal customers. It’s a littler more price wise than our local chains around here like Domino’s but I promise you, if you like Chicago style thin crust and quality ingredients it is so worth it. The best part is getting an authentic Chicago pizza without traveling to the city.“

“Very good experience at sbarro this morning. We arrived at about 11:10, right after opening, and all of the food was out and fresh. Everything looked amazing-we wanted it all. “An intimate setting for size. I will say their menu is extensive. You could bring a diverse group here and most would find something they wanted to eat. The pizza I had was ok, I have a feeling it would have been better on a larger sized crust. The fettuccine was good enough I suppose but the Alfredo sauce was sweet which wasn't quite my thing. If I could have done it over again I would have ordered something different. The staff was wonderful which I feel like was really the best part of the experience. If you are looking for a location to eat and don't want to get tied into a set menu this place could help you out in a pinch.
