“Customer service was amazing, we needed food for our family after a family member passed away. It was last minute when I called them to place the order, they told me they were closing in 20 minutes, when I told them why I needed the food, they told me they would make the food and stay there and wait for us to pick it up. They were amazing and so was the food!“

“This papa johns has very hard working staff who are under paid! I visited this location on Halloween to get a jack o lantern pizza for my kids and when I arrived it was a mad house inside everyone busting butt working fast making pizzas. The lobby was full the customers were getting rude the screens were beyond full Everytime the workers printed out a page of tickets another page was ready to go. The manger kept apologizing to the rude customers who couldn't clearly see and understand they staff was already working as hard and fast as they could with a full oven and full racks of pizzas to place in already. My wait time was only 35 minutes even with all this going on. So way to go papa johns of lake station. 5 starts for sure! Oh and the pizza looked and tasted great“

“After years of driving by, we finally stopped in for dinner. WOW! Everything was delicious. Mixed drinks were done right, salad was fresh, and our entrees were fantastic! It was Chicago quality food hidden in Burns Harbor, IN. Tiramisu was just the way we like it and the service, from the Hostess to our Waitress, were friendly and helpful. It's a small and popular restaurant so be prepared to wait...but it is totally worth it!“

“My wife and I tried this place for the first time tonight. When picking up the pizza they were very busy. The staff was extremely nice and very Apologetic about our wait time for our pick up order. Now I know why this place was busy, the pizza is amazing!! We are definitely making the trip there to come back!“

“Flamingos has been in town for a long time. Nice little cozy place. A good perch dinner. We like a thin crust pepperoni pizza. The flavor of the pizza dough reminds me of Onos which was one of the Best pizza places, that has a Great flavor to it that you can not find anywhere. The cheese is stretchy when hot. Good flavor! The antipasta was delicious with the raspberry vinegrette, it is also enough for me to eat again tomorrow. I also got one of their house brownies, which was unlike any brownie I've ever had before. Awesome presentation on the brownie too, it stayed in place on its way here.

“My daughter and I picked a random place today, and we ended up here. Definitely didn’t know what to expect, and the menu had so many choice it was hard to decide ( a good thing )!!! “Pizza here is definitely tasty. A little doughy so it’s not the typical thin crust tavern style you find at a lot of small shops.

It’s inside a gas station. Order in person or over the phone. Pay at the gas station cashier. Bring back your receipt to the pizza counter to grab your pizza.

It was fast and friendly service. Clean and smells amazing inside.

I got the beef and onion along with a specialty pizza, the taco pizza.

I enjoyed the taco pizza. Very tasty except it’s a hard one to warm up the next day due to the lettuce and tomato.

The beef and onion was decent. It doesn’t have a strong flavor. Just enough to make you wanting more. Again, lots of dough so it fills you up quickly.“

“My family and I love JJ's! And if you haven't tried their version of stuffed crust pizza...it.is.a.MUST! We usually get a sausage and pepperoni stuffed crust and the whole pizza comes with a layer of crust on top! Not a thick layer, just enough to 'stuff' the pizza with delicious ingredients. They have pretty good mild/hot wings and they staff is always courteous. They messed up our order one time and we had driven to pick it up and didn't notice the mistake until we got home. We called them and they offered to deliver our order to us, no charge!“

“I have been to this location a couple times the first time everything was right at expectations for Beggars Pizza. However when I visited 10/31/2024 it wasn't the best experience I pre-ordered a deep dish and boneless wings for 645pm. With this pre-order it gave the establishment over an hour to prepare my food. When I arrived my order was still not ready and I was given an ETA of 15 minutes this was kind of annoying but I understood it was Halloween and they did seem pretty busy. When I first arrived there was a small box up on the heater and the lady working the desk when asking the kitchen about my order only inquired about the pizza. I was so worried that my wings were already prepared in that small box and that the quality would be terrible. I was hoping they would do the right thing and re make them but they didn't and those were my wings and they were in fact not good. The lady at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and even though my order was sitting ready in the window when I returned she disappeared to the back area making me wait longer for the order I placed at this point about an hour and 40 mins for. She just needed to man her position and get the orders out that she did already have in the hot window. That was pretty annoying but overall I would go back just for the pizza because that wasn't bad I just would have liked the kitchen timing to be better so all parts of my order came out hot and fresh.“

“I just tried to use the VIP coupon for free pizza and ordering the required extra food. order $8.99 wings not enough for delivery must be $10 ok fine order bigger order of wings then they tell me I can't do that, why THEY DONT KNOW. Can't totally blame the worker but the whole conversation took over 10 minutes. guess he wasn't properly trained. what's use in sending out a coupon if I go above and beyond as much as i needed to order. “Unfortunately I hadn’t been ordering from this Rosati’s, although it’s been in my backyard. I’d had it in the past but due to unhappiness with service, and seeing negative reviews I hadn’t ordered in years.

This past weekend I had a specific craving for Chicago style thin crust pizza. My spouse suggested we give it a try. Wow! It blew us both away by how good the pizza was. It was everything we wanted and more. The “fabulous four” (Italian sausage, mushroom, green pepper, and onion) was mouthwateringly delicious! The Italian sausage savory and the veggies were so fresh. It was even better the next day, reheated in our toaster oven. The other pizza was fantastic too. Along with the few appetizers we ordered. Their marinara sauce tastes so fresh and is the perfect balance of savory and just a hint of sweet.

I cannot believe we haven’t been ordering from here for so long but now that we’ve had it again and tasted the quality we will be loyal customers. It’s a littler more price wise than our local chains around here like Domino’s but I promise you, if you like Chicago style thin crust and quality ingredients it is so worth it. The best part is getting an authentic Chicago pizza without traveling to the city.“

“Would be 5 stars but there are a couple issues. They always seem to mess up at least one item on my order. Also their tacos are very good but very dry and they don’t offer and red or green sauce with them. They by far have the best food overall in the region as far as delivery goes. Great selection I wish they would offer bacon as an option to add on to there burgers also some ketchup packets etc. would be nice. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delivery in the area.“

“I come here often enough. The gentleman that I think is the manager goes above and beyond. He is the hardest working man. He is always kind, and professional. He has excellent customer service. I tried dominoes in Chesterton and it could not compare. The pizza and bread stick bites are delicious. Portage dominoes is in a class by itself. I appreciate the hard work the staff here do.
