“Our favorite breakfast place! The nicest owner and employees! Everyone there welcomes you in like family! Always Excellent service! The food is amazing and prices are very reasonable! They have so many options for breakfast. I love their "for the birds" options for when I'm not super hungry but want a little of everything. My kids love their chocolate milk because the sweet ladies put whip cream on top with sprinkles :) By far the best breakfast in our area!!!“
“Really good food and very generous proportions. Service is wonderful and they have a very warm environment. Prices are pretty cheap and fresh cookies are only a dollar!Parking: There is not much parking, but there is always free space from my experience.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu“
“Wow! I've always seen this cute little place driving by, but today went and grabbed a Togo. Very friendly staff all around, even the customers that were dining in. I recc the Hugh Jass combo. It comes with enough to feed two people. I got two of them and an order of biscuits and gravy. And my family of four couldn't finish it all. I will be coming in more often. (: thanks for the great service and great food!!“
“When I asked about vegan options I was handed a vegetarian/vegan menu. About half of the items were marked as vegan or ones that could be made vegan. The Mushroom Pate (vegan version) was way nice. The Grilled Fennel Salad (vegan version) was also really yummy. And the Cauliflower was incredibly good. So was the vegan chocolate dessert. Two friends and I arrived at 7:30pm, and ate and talked till 11:30pm. Wonderful night! Updated from previous review on 2024-04-18“
“I have visited three times now. Most recently this past Saturday as they were opening for the day. Drinks are delicious, food is phenomenal. This is a little more upscale than other restaurants so of your tastebuds have not matured, stick to your basic options. Will definitely visit again and tell friends!“
“Thank you for an impressive job catering the Michiana Jeep Clubs Christmas party! The food was excellent, the service even better, everyone was raving over the polish wedding dinner, we will be using you in the future, thank you for making our party a huge success!“
“We really loved this find in Elkhart. After our first attempt to eat flopped we turned to yelp and boy did you up trumps Food was not what we expected it was better . Hush puppies and burgers but with an amazing twist on the food. Great craft beers and a thoroughly great experience“
“There are three of us who each live 2 hours away who meet at Angelo's once every three months to catch up. We talk, have breakfast and relax. We are always treated so well by our servers, given great service and food, and allowed to spend some time. Today, our server Ruth was awesome! Portions are generous, taste great, and are reasonable. Best place to meet and eat! Thank you Angelo's!“
“Ambience - It's a VFW hall. It has a bar and plenty of seating with a 1970's vibe as that was probably the last time it was remodeled. Not a dig, but don't expect RUE152!Service is what it is. When they're busy, table service is reliant on VOLUNTEERS. They get tips, that's it. In this time good help is hard to find and volunteers must be incredibly hard to get. Give them a break and be patient. They're doing the best that they can. Once you order your food, it does show up quickly. Food is always hot, very tasty, generous portions and it's a bargain by todays standards.Since we discovered this place we have had several very good meals there, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We LOVE this place and hopefully we'll see you there for a beer and a burger...or maybe the fish fry?“
“I want to thank the owner for her kindness. My 90 yr old grandma called her to see if she could deliver her food all the way on the West side of South Bend. She drove over 25 minutes to take her food and didn't charge her a delivery fee. My grandma really enjoyed the soups. Thank you so much for your kindness!“
“Stopped in for lunch with. Local customer. Didn't know what to expect. Simeri's is a local dive bar with exceptional food. Started with tomato beef soup. Wish I had gotten a full bowl, it was delicious. Followed that up w/ a chef salad that was filling and full of fresh veggies. My colleagues had the ham and scalloped potato's, breaded pork tenderloin sandwich (looked amazing) and the blue cheese chicken pecan salad. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The waitress/ bartender/ possible owner couldn't have been more accommodating. A real hidden gem. Can't wait to come back!“
“It's more of a truckers restaurant, than a family oriented restaurant. Not to say you couldn't take your family there. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly. It's a one bathroom only facility. I go there when I am working in the area, I live to far away to go on my own time. Food is good, portions are ok. Nice change of pace, instead of fast food drive through enviroment. Feels good to sit down and have a cup of coffee out of a coffee cup. The atmosphere is good, a lot of repeat customers. I have eaten there many times and will continue to do so.“

“Best neighborhood bar ever!! Great crowd of people who genuinely care and treat you like family. Drinks always made without asking when we walk in the door. Too Tall and staff are all wonderful and deliver excellent, speedy service. Drink prices are the best around and couldn't ask for a better deal! Highly recommended to all!“
“The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is my family's favorite breakfast spot. The menu items are reasonably priced.Kid-friendliness: They do provide a kids menu and highchairs and booster seats....they recently added a changing table to the women's bathroom!Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is ground level and handicap accessible.“
“Idk who else needs to hear this we've been sleepin on Gio's Pancake House on Lincolnway off Ironwood. Hands down best pancakes in town. I had a chopped steak, eggs, grits, and pancakes. My wife had a chorizo and cheese omelet with hash browns and toast. The kids had oatmeal with peaches and a chocolate milk each. All for under $40 (before tip). We left plenty full talking about the wonderful flavors we were just treated to. The service was great. And it wasn't packed at all. (We did see more than a few people come in for order pick up so that may be part of it.) I think I found a new favorite breakfast place for the family that's budget friendly without sacrificing the good stuff! #SupportLocalKid-friendliness: They brought crayons and coloring sheets to the table!“
“Stopped by last week after noticing the remodel for the first time in awhile. The new owners were very busy and did their best keeping up with everybody.Tried their bacon cheeseburger to go and while it was a bit pricey, it was very good. They wrapped the vegetables separately to keep them fresh.Very nice atmosphere as well, despite it being a smaller place that was packed. Everyone was enjoying themselves and it was full of chatter. I'll stop in again, they seemed like very nice, attentive young ladies.“
“My husband was getting his hair cut across the street at Johnny's (by the way, excellent barber shop) and I happened to glance across the street and see a COFFEE sign. Being a coffee lover, I had to make my way over to check it out. I was immediately greeted as I stepped through the door by a wonderful barista at the rear of the shop. We chatted a bit while she was preparing my brew; she was very helpful and pleasant, too. The clean, locally-owned shop also has food, pastries, and some neat trinkets and treasures for purchase. Thank you for creating a wonderful latte for me!“
“Service with Karen was awesome. We had never been to this resturant and this was a great little place to eat. The food was 5 star. I had the Barnyard BBQ and the ribs and chicken were the best. I live in Texas, if I lived in the area I would frequenty go here. The other three people in our party had rave reviews as well!!“
“Awesome place and very good food. This bar has the number one cook in my book and best cook in mishawaka. His girlfriend was very helpful. Hade the gyro puff and pineapple habanero warp very good. Bartender was playing are favorite band korn and lamb of God will definitely be back“
“The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming, it's like walking into the family kitchen every time, even when you've never been there before. The prices are incredible, but the experience is better; they even make my wiley 3 year old feel at home when he is toddlering. This is quickly becoming tradition for when family visits!“
“This is mine and my boyfriend's hang out. Now, if you don't like loud, smokey bars, this is not the place for you at night. It's a lot less smokey during lunch, especially if you sit in a booth so if you're wanting to try it out, that may be the best time for you. Outside of that, they have great food and drinks with specials every day. Monday is Family Feud Trivia. Wednesday is karaoke. Thursday is open jam. Friday and Saturday is live music. It's like the local version of Cheers where everyone knows your name.“
“Ordered the Buffalo wings , house salad and a macademia nut cookie.($26).. All was good, the wings are on the greasy / fatty side but I still ate them... Over all, I would recommend if the Buffet is closed and you don't feel like driving to go eat elsewhere.“
“My wife was craving italian and that is how we found this place. So happy we did! The waitresses were so polite, personable and professional. The food was amazing. They brought fresh breadsticks to the table. Made From Scratch! The marinara they paired with it was also some of the best I've had in a very long time.We will definitely be coming back multiple times! Love supporting locally owned businesses. Seeing the owner in the kitchen working alongside their staff is always awesome as well.“
“The cream of mushroom soup is good. The pretzel is very tasty to One recommendation remove that chili off of your menu it’s disgusting and taste like something that comes out of a can. No flavor no seasonings We didn’t even eat it and told the waitress but she just said ok“
“Excellent and friendly service, good atmosphere feels like home. Got the 16oz sirloin dinner with a baked potato and salad. The crutons for the salad are made in house and were SO GOOD. My only complaint is that the steak is underseasoned and lacking on flavor potential but otherwise was alright.“
“I come here for breakfast and dinner and I get a bacon skillet with pancakes ? or for dinner I get all you can eat fish this place is very kind friendly and very nice we have never had anything bad happen here food s always fresh waters are always back we fell welcome to come “
