“Great donuts. Worth the stop. I happened in at 10:40 am and they were just getting ready to close up at 11 am. The selection had been cleared out, but they still had yeast donuts and other pastries to fill a dozen for my order. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Next time I stop I will be getting a box of donut holes as well. The did have some seating, but it was limited. If you are planning to stop and want a selection you better be a morning person and be in line before they open at 5 am.“

“This place has been around for nearly 50 years, so I just had to see it! If you're claustrophobic, it might be too difficult for you to visit, but if you love looking at lots of interesting things, this is the place for you! I am a gnome collector, and I found one to add to my collection. There are hundreds! The best part was the food. We weren't in a hurry, so we had time to sit for a while and wait for service. What a surprise! Best food I've had in a long time! And don't forget the cake. Not too sweet, and absolutely delicious! Ask about the cash register. It's an antique twice over. And check out the bathroom. The next table over defined it as "entertaining." ☺️“

“As far as bakeries go, this is fantastic. Their sugar cookies, mini cakes, and birthday cakes blow any competition out of the park. I recently got a birthday cake from them (white cake with vanilla frosting) and it was far better than any grocery store cake. It was moist, fluffy and dense, and it had a very interesting citrusy flavor that made it taste unique, aside from just your standard cake. Only reason why I don’t rate this 5 stars is because some of their items are on the pricer side (then again, it is a local business so that is to be expected)“

“The "Cheers" of Geist in coffee form. Anything I've tried from the fresh made food menu was tasty, pairing well with a lengthy assortment of specialty hot coffee or cold drink. “This place is so cute! You're immediately greeted by a fun mural and. WALL full of yummy looking jarred food options like pickles and apple butter. Would that I could buy them all. But then you turn around and it's a wall full of DONUTS. Everything looked absolutely stunning. It smelled incredible. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a pecan sticky roll and both were out of this world. I'll be back to try a donut for sure!“

“I have baked cakes my entire life, so I was a bit skeptical about these cakes. I was pleasantly surprised at how moist our cakes were (white chocolate raspberry and carrot cake). Also, the frosting was light and flavorful. Even my husband who doesn't like frosting ate his! Very yummy product! We will be back!“

“The customer service was phenomenal and each order was clearly packed with the utmost care! The gentleman that helped us explained to us how they were different from regular donuts. I saw that another reviewer said they seemed stale, I expect this was because they were expecting regular donuts. They are made with rice flour so they are slightly crisp on the outside and then fluffy inside. The closest thing I can compare the texture to is maybe like a churro or a funnel cake. We tried one of each flavor available and they were all delicious! The worker also made sure to point out any potential allergens without me asking, which I thought was very thoughtful and kind. When my husband and I decided to get married, I fretted about finding a delicious cake, because the trend is to be pretty rather than tasty. “I feel i have been doing this place an injustice; I've been going for months and have not shared one of the Far East sides best kept secret! This bakery is scrumptious and very reasonably priced! My all time favorite items are the tres leches, at least it's what it reminds me of and this breaks stuffed with cream cheese and jalepeno . I like to take they loaf home and warm it in the oven for a little bit so it's nice and warm and gooey like I said I've been going for awhile, lol.My daughters enjoy the cookies, churros, and donuts greatly. He also stated that the cupcake is good too. I went with his first suggestion and I'm glad I did. The brownie was very good. I only wish I could have warmed it up.
