“The gentleman who waited on us was friendly, personable, and all around knowledgeable about his products. He explained his awesome ginger tea how it's made. I got the beef pho with extra onions and beef and my bf got the seafood pho. Excellently made.We also got 2 orders of spring rolls and it was fantastic! If I'm ever in the area again we will be back.“
“I recently dined at The Terrace Room Restaurant with my work team. The dinner was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional which can be a challenge with a large group. The food was truly outstanding. The bruschetta, especially the apple pairing was so good. We all loved our food and the menu had a lot of delicious options from pasta, poultry, meat, and seafood. We may have ordered every dessert item and they were all fantastic. Whether for a team dinner or a romantic evening out, this establishment is sure to leave a lasting impression. We can't wait to return and explore more of what this culinary gem has to offer.“
“Not sure why they don't lean into old chicago kinda vibes. No Malört on the shelf but hey thats ok, the patrons gotcha covered if youre lookin to make faces. Outta this world burgers and pretzels for the prices. One of the few bars I feel comfortable in.Edit: I guess theyve started stocking malort since the last time I asked for it! Hurray! I can ruin many more friendships in the years to come!“
“This was a super cool spot to stop for a night cap! First, we loved the concept of reopening the deli at night as kind of a secret speak easy. The bartenders were hip and knowledgeable, the cocktail menu was well varied and well designed, and the drinks were amazing! My wife chose a Cosmo and it was delicious, and I had an old fashioned that was among the most carefully crafted I’ve ever had for the price. On a date night? Go here! Out with friends? Go here! Rough day of fishing? Go here! Is your favorite bar an Applebees where you can slurp a Bahama Mama? Go here and learn how great a bar and a drink can be!“
“Three Sheets is an authentic townie, dive-bar in Michigan City, an authentic All-American city. I embrace the patrons who support this local business; down-to-earth, honest, hard working, folks. The type of clientele that build our houses, make steel, construct roads and bridges, fight our fires, farm crops and repairs our cars. The food is always delicious, hot, and very reasonably priced. The beer is cold and the drinks are strong. The Wednesday Meat Loaf Special is one of my favorites along with The Working Person's Special (burger, fries, soft drink) A little smoky? At times, yes, but so was my grandma's house. However, that didn't stop me from visiting her, devouring her wonderful food and enjoying time spent there.“
“Very impressed by this cool little neighborhood bar and restaurant now under new ownership. Great tap beer list, delicious food. We had the chicken wings and cauliflower bites. The place is clean and modern and looks like the place to be once the outdoor patio opens. Service was friendly and attentive.“
“This is a 4 Stop Famous cheeseburger, made a double!!!! The best burger in town! Cheapest price in town. Come have some stiff inexpensive drinks, and some old school American private owner bar food!!! The Best hands down. Come say Hi to John!!!“
“This cozy spot is great for watching sports as well as playing darts on one of the dozen or so electronic dart boards. They also have a bar sized pool table and plenty of seating throughout. The staff is friendly and they are one of the very few places that keeps Woodchuck hard cider in tap.“
“My go to. Even though we're regulars, I'd still go; I love the food..the people.. everything. Best chicken fingers and pickles ever!!! 5 dart boards and an outdoor patio for when the weather cooperates.Great bands on Fridays too!!“
“My husband Scott (The Detail Guy) and I love being new members this year. It’s been our go-to place to connect with new friends in the area since our move here two years ago, bring family over for some waterfront views, and entertain guests who visit.Ryan and team are wonderful. We love the views, watching games, and can’t wait for more events in the months ahead.“
“I have to admit I haven't eaten here yet, but when I'm in town I always stop in for a cocktail. This is perhaps the coziest neighborhood bar on earth. There's no pretense here. You are likely to enter through a side door that walks you straight in through the bar itself--one of the only places in Indiana where you get to do that (something about being grandfathered in). While they have a small collection of premium (and local) drafts on tap, why not get an Old Style in a frozen schooner? There's a self-serve popcorn machine with bowls and hot sauce at the ready. And even if you're not a local, after a few minutes you will be chatting with the bartender and other customers as if you were. If this bar were in my neighborhood, it would definitely be my "neighborhood bar."“
“Cold beer, great food! Love a small hometown bar where everyone knows your name!! Definitely gives off a cheers vibe! They have the newest PGA Tour Golf Game along with a lawn dart/Cornhole game that I personally loved! Great staff! Family owned bar!“
“Stopped in for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't overly crowded, and it was easy to get a table. Several vegan options which is unusual for a lot of places. The red bean quinoa burger is excellent. The service was great, and the staff was friendly. Love that they have multiple styles of beer“
“Nothing but top cheffing with fabulous quality going on here. Excellent service, extremely friendly staff and right on Lake Michigan. Checking all my boxes!!I followed chef Nicole here after experiencing, and now mourning the closing of, Bartlett’s in Beverly Shores… recently finding out she now owns this place. Next stop, her latest endeavor, the taken over Rt12 roadside bar, Joe Freddie’s!“
“Say farewell tomorrow before it is too late! I had to stop in one last time before their closing. An Italian beef can be one of my favorite takeout meals. I loved their use of garlic bread, especially as a switchup from Al's or Portillos. I'll miss having the option to stop in and enjoy a peaceful drink now and again. They had plenty of good dishes at fair prices and I am sure they will be missed by many. I wish everyone nothing but success in their future ventures!“
“This place is great! We ate here on Saturday and the food was really good. The cook even came out of the kitchen and sat with us for a while. His name was Phil and he was absolutely awesome.Small town atmosphere with friendly people and good food.“
“Best restaurant and bar in Michigan City! Hands down!Parking: Prices beat the living hell out of any restaurants in the City, down home customers, excellent staff even when busy. Food fantastic, amounts proper, dine in here one time, you will find you will go to fast food places far less. No place else beats their prices. Locals love this place. And their parking lot shows it.“
