“It is a food truck on the side of a busy road, so it is a bit awkward, but it is colorful and clean. I will say that is fairly easy getting in and out of the lot.
Along with the food being really good, it is made while you wait, which is a bonus! The two ladies who work the stand are pleasant and patient as we were unsure about what we wanted to eat. I do recommend you give it a try if you are out that way.“

“I haven't ate here in a few years. The salsa was spot on. Lots of flavor. Waitress was very patient and helpful as we 5 kids under the age of 9. She was very attentive and refills were brought. Everyone finished their food and left full. I always get the steak in chile verde. No Mexican restaurant comes near how tasteful the chile verde is ! Thank you mi parilla for the great experience.“

“This is good authentic Mexican food. You can buy tamales by the dozen on some days. I live 45 minutes away and only visit Fort Wayne so often. Even if I am not able to eat in the restaurant, I stop in at the store. I pick up some their salsa, Tortillas, or tamales if they have some.“

“The food was phenomenal! The flavor was unlike any other Mexican place in Fort Wayne. We tried the Jose’s Burrito which had pastor inside and I cannot recommend it enough. “5 stars! We had a great experience at Cinco de Mayo, and I especially want to recognize Aniyah for her wonderful service. We unexpectedly had a medical emergency come up and needed to leave much sooner than planned. She was incredibly attentive and quickly helped get our orders switched from dine-in to takeout so we could get going without any added stress.

She was kind, helpful, and handled everything so smoothly during a difficult moment. On top of the great service, all of the food was excellent. We really appreciated how well we were taken care of and will definitely be back!“

“My wife and I love this place! It is our favorite place to come and enjoy authentic tacos. My wife (who is from Mexico 🇲🇽) loves this place and I can light up her face with just asking if she wants to come to El Amish!! She loves the beef tongue pork and bbq. Every type of flavor they have is amazing she says. Myself, I get the marinade pork cuz I have always enjoyed it. They add a sautéed onion with the food and 4 sauces and more than enough for us. Come here if you want the good tacos 🌮“

“Dan Chava’s is incredible! Their chips and queso go crazy, if you want to add some flavor add their chorizo! It’s incredible!
They also have very good margaritas snd have a variety of flavors too!
Their whole menu is delicious. I have never had anything that was bad at this restaurant! I highly recommend their enchiladas, fajita quesadilla and their carne asada tacos!
Side note the green sauce that comes on some of the enchiladas I substitute for queso and have them put the green sauce on the side. It is tasty but has a kick to it!“

“I have been to this restaurant many times, and I always have great service. The food is always good. The price is awesome for the amount of food you get. I have nothing bad to say about this place. My daughter and I went there today, and the total bill was 38 bucks. Not bad at all. I left full and satisfied and I also have leftovers for later. Will be back soon!“

“Fresh masa Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. All the masa is ready at 10am and they close at 12pm . You must call ahead of time . Sometimes there is no work so do not wait til the last min to order masa or pick ur order up. If you show up for a pick up and the door is locked ?, Call, most likely they are working in the back and if you knock no one will hear you. This place has been around for 50+years. Run by family. “Had dinner here with a couple friends last weekend and it was pretty good overall. The chips and salsa came out quick and were fresh, and I really liked the flavor of the chicken fajitas. The portion sizes were fair for the price, and everything came out hot. Service was friendly even though the place was kinda busy, so that was nice. The margarita I got could’ve been a bit stronger but still tasted good. Not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, but definitely worth going back once in a while.“

“This place could be bigger or update the space inside for dining in HOWEVER, my family is from Guatemala and I’m from Chicago/NWI and finding good authentic family food is hard but this place is soooo good. Great for carry out orders. I get the zucchini and cheese pupusas or the bean and cheese and with the cabbage and sauce you get is soooo good when all paired together. 10/10 food, prices and service. Also the Piña is sooo good😍😍 especially so big for the price!! I will say order ahead of time because this place does get busy especially on the weekends so I’ll order 20-30 minutes in advance for my carry out order. Can’t beat the prices for the amount of food. I can feed 3 adults for $30-$35!! Only thing I can give to the owner as far as constructive criticism is more bilingual people for phone service, add silverware/ napkins in the bag & update the space inside or open another location for better dining in purposes ☺️ I would love to eat inside with a big family!

“My husband and I used Salsa Grille catering for our wedding last week and we would definitely recommend them! The food was delivered right on time, set up quickly, and we even were able to hire a few staff (super professional) to stay and help with keeping the food stocked/everything clean on the buffet table during dinner. The food was hot and the dishes we asked them to keep out stayed hot throughout the night. We had SO many comments about how good the buffet was and how it was the best wedding food our guests ever had - we're so glad we went the "non-traditional" route because it was delicious and there was something everyone could enjoy regardless of dietary restrictions! We would use them again for another event and would recommend them for your wedding! Our order: taco bar with corn and flour tortillas, steak, chicken, queso, guacamole, corn salsa, mild salsa, fajita veggies, white rice, black beans, and chips.“
