“Love this little place in the hills of beautiful Brown County. And the prime rib was THE BEST beef I ever had! Tender, juicy, and huge (pricey at $35, though the rest of the pricing is surprisingly reasonable). They also make a great Ruben Sandwich.“
“Talk about a loving, home town feel, not only from the staff, but also other patrons (who raved about the food as they left and others got up slightly early to make room for us). Everyone was so kind and the staff had a synergy that came through in a fast, helpful, and cheerful way. They were able to think quickly and seat 11 of us in an efficient way, even keeping us together. Also on the ball in all our needs, even given the large group. Everyone loved their dishes, so much so we shared among the table a bit and everyone even loved each other's dishes. Such an amazing experience! Thank you! ?“
“Pork tenderloin was what I expected, Falls right in line with what I expected out of a Hoosier tenderloin but doesn't really stand out above any average tenderloin in the state. Staff was super nice and sweet. The menu other than the tenderloin is mediocre at best. Come for the tenderloin and you'll be happy“
“First time here drive 3 hours to get here and I was not disappointed! Seated quickly, waiter was great , he didn't hound us to hurry he gave us are space was just great! “The service was friendly. I had a short stack of their whole-grain pancakes with fruit on top, with two eggs, sunny side up. The eggs were excellent. The fruit was fresh and very tasty. The pancakes, were just a bit undercooked. Given a five star but for that. In the cooks defense, they look to be cooked on the outside, but inside in the center it was half cooked batter. I ate it all though!“

Broccoli had wonderful flavor and cooked perfectly! Chicken salad croissant was delicious, lots of flavor, light and fluffy. Service was great, food was fast. “I was nearby this Waffle House so I stopped in for a classic waffle. Everything was so neat and clean ... nothing I touched was sticky!! That makes me very happy. My waffle was ready so quickly that I didn't even have time to work on my puzzle book that I brought. The staff was very pleasant and quite efficient!! This was a WIN all the way around!“

Even with an absurd order, covered in mud after a day of airsoft and paintball, and my disheveled Visage standing in the doorway, the first thing I heard when I walked in was "how you doin' baybee"Yep, that's what America feels like right there. “The old building is super cool if you like atmosphere, and if you like history, of course. During the warmer months, they have outdoor seating, which is quite fun. The server was very helpful and friendly.My only complaint with the service is a personal pet peeve where they substitute something for you but don’t tell you that they’re gonna charge you when they agree to substitute.The fish and chips were excellent!!! which is a big deal when you’re this far away from the ocean:-)The steak fries, were quite a good flavor (lightly breaded) and hot.The sirloin steak sandwich had good flavor & was very basic, (meat, and bun similar to brioche) but of course you can add whatever you want for an extra fee.The pizza was pretty good and had a lot of toppings on it! which were a little on the thick side in some areas and more normal in others. (I often like a thick topping pizza).Parking: Lots of parking on the street and in the parking lot within 100 feet.Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs, and were very friendly with the children in the restaurant.“
“The food here is always so delicious and cooked perfectly. They have the best tortilla soup around, and the fresh baked cookies are a must-have. The last couple of times we've been, they've been short staffed, but everyone is still friendly and makes it an enjoyable experience even with the slightly longer wait.“

Quickly replaced her wet fries. All well trying to explain discount to other booth and get the manager for them.Wheelchair accessibility: Not a place for wheel chairs. Too many steps inside.“
“Second stop here. I had the Spicy Bacon Ranch Burger with fries. It was one of the best smoked burgers I have had in a while and it was cooked to perfection for medium rare. Fries were excellent. Only thing that could have been better was the temperature of the barely wine…it was luke warm at best and needed to be served in chilled glass or the temperature adjusted on the taps as the other sample I tried was also almost room temperature.“
“Discovered this place when I was here on a work trip. Ended up coming here three or four times a week for dinner or breakfast. The food is fantastic, the service is nonpareil, and the atmosphere is as warm and welcoming as any place in Indiana. Next time I’m back in town, I know exactly where I’m going!“
