I get them dry with a side of hot sauce, and their hot sauce is amazing?. Perfect heat, and a subtle fruity aftertone. Bartender is awesome, friendly, and the food always comes out quick. I can only vouch for the wings, because I haven't and won't order anything else.“
“One of my favorite restraints ever. We lived in valpo 10-15 years ago and enjoyed this restaurant often. We were just back last night and it was even better. 5 people were in our group, all got very different items, all were off the chart good. I had the steak salad. It was the best salad I have. ever had. I recommend this place often and they never disappoint.“
“My new favorite! Date night at Cheers for the comedy show was perfect. We got there early and had dinner. The service was excellent from start to finish. Every seat was filled and yet the speedy service never slowed down. The staff all wore a smile and were very attentive and seem to really be enjoying themselves. The vibe was casual and very laidback. The food came out quick and hot and absolutely delicious. The pretzel is a must have! Our drinks were too good to have just one, the beer was the coldest I’ve ever had. Squeaky clean, even the bathrooms were spotless. I can’t wait to go back, my husband said this is our new go to! “Real homemade food, I had the Chili Cheese Dogs W Fries $5.00 It was all I could eat, and I am a big man. Then I tried there club sandwich that had bacon, beef, turkey, lettuce, and some kind of sauce. $5.00 W Fries or chips. The chili outstanding !!! Never had a bad meal there. In this industry we deal with a multitude of personalities, and any professional bartender would smile and treat every customer with respect. Regardless. It's how we (bartenders) make our money. “Just got out of the hospital and didn't feel like cooking. My husband decided that we would give Taphouse a try. Boy am I glad we decided to try this little gem. The service was fast, friendly, and the food was phenomenal!!!We had the prime rib dinner that came with a salad and baked potato. Everything was just awesome! “I recommend sitting down in this little dive bar and enjoying their tacos along with the environment. I did and it was great. The bartender was very prompt and inviting. The bar had quite a few people sitting down at it but the booths were readily available and there is plenty of room. If I'm ever back in the area I'm definitely stopping in again and I hope it's sometime soon.“
