“Tried here after being denied service at Nowhere in Rolling Prairie due to having my baby along for Father’s Day. So happy we did. This is a family friendly establishment with a very nice staff, excellent food, and a nice atmosphere. Will absolutely recommend and return.“

“This was my first time here. This is a quaint hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant in New Carlisle, Indiana. Our booth had comfortable seats and it was situated right over one of the heat ducts which made itnice and warm the entire time we were there!. Our server was polite and checked on us often enough to keep our drinks filled. I had the BLT club sandwich which was a triple decker! It was grilled with butter on the outside slices of bread and the tomatoes were nice and ripe and it had ample bacon slices. It was actually the best BTL I’ve ever had! My husband had the BBQ pork sandwich and said it was very delicious. I highly recommend Jennie Rae’s for hometown good cooking!“

“Went there twice in the last month and everything was great. The 1st time we had an appetizer called crabbies I believe. Egg rolls with crab filling and they were very good. The 2nd time we had the crab cakes and those will be the appetizer we'll get in the future.

1st time I had the walleye and prime rib combo, my husband had the filet. 2nd time I had the filet and he had the shrimp and NY strip combo. Both times we had enough left over for a 2nd meal the next night. Loved the salad and homemade dressing. And the topper of the night was the mile high turtle cheesecake. Holy Moly!!

The 2nd time our server was Anna and she was wonderful. I don't remember the server's name the first time but she was also good. Well worth the money going there and so nice to have a great meal each time.“

“Had reservations to visit for a birthday dinner. Food and service was excellent. Had the smoked whitefish and deviled eggs for starters. Both were excellent. The table had a cross section of foods: the trout, salmon and steak pot pie. All were excellent. "The best salmon I ever had" was one of the comments. The only slight misstep was that the order was for chicken pot pie and we received steak pot pie. Our waitress noticed and offered to replace it. She couldn't pry the steak off the table it was so good! Highly recommend it. Make sure you get reservations.“

“Copper Rock is one of the best if not the best casino Steak Houses around Northwest Indiana/ Southern Michigan. The staff is great everyone from the server that brings you water or bread to the wait staff and cooks in the kitchen have been going here for 15 years 6 times per year each year I can honestly say I have never ever had a bad meal or service it's quite literally top notch.“

Only thing, the wait in line was long for the amount of tables occupied - the cashier really needed the 2nd register open sooner to clear the line (which was still visible an hour later).“

“This was our first visit to the Staymaker, which is the restaurant within the Journeyman Distillery. We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and we were not disappointed! “My family went there for lunch today for the first time. We were so impressed with all the menu options! All of the food sounded fantastic and our food we ordered was beyond delicious! The owner was our waitress and she was so very sweet and friendly. She was so nice to my 2.5 year old son too! She was so thoughtful and brought out my son's food 5 minutes before ours so I could get him situated and eating before my food came and I wasn't eating a cold meal. That meant so much to me! Towards the end a customer walked passed us and called my son a "cutie pie" then my son said "I want pie" 🤣🤣 The owner must have overheard that because right when we were paying to leave she brought my son a piece of pie to take home. I love going to restaurants where the staff are friendly to not only my husband and I but also our toddler. Thank you so much Mama T's for the wonderful lunch experience. “The atmosphere was great!! Chicken tenders were from the freezer would not recommend those. My husband got catfish, bones and all would not recommend those either. Pies looked delicious but never tried those.“

“Wow! So so so yummy!!! We are visiting family in LaPorte, from Southern Ohio. We called and ordered pizza to go. The girl on the phone was the most kind, patient, considerate, and thorough person I have ever talked to when ordering food on the phone. She was equally as nice and smiley when I picked up the pizza. We ordered a 14inch pizza with pepperoni, bacon and sausage and it was so flavorful. The crust was crunchy and the pizza held together nicely. The placement of the pepperoni and sausage was so perfect and equally dispersed. We also ordered 10inch cheese pizza that was seasoned nice with perfect crust. I got a large side of ranch that was provided in a Styrofoam cup with a lid for about $2.50. You also get a cash discount. Very pleased and will be ordering again.“

“The buffet was good, but I think they put way too much pepper on the food. There’s a lot of people out there cannot have pepper … that’s why you put salt and pepper shakers on the table so people could put the salt and pepper on the food by themselves. The cooks put way too much pepper on the food especially the mashed potatoes. Don’t need to do that. Nobody else does that.“
