“Tried here after being denied service at Nowhere in Rolling Prairie due to having my baby along for Father’s Day. So happy we did. This is a family friendly establishment with a very nice staff, excellent food, and a nice atmosphere. Will absolutely recommend and return.“

“This was my first time here. This is a quaint hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant in New Carlisle, Indiana. Our booth had comfortable seats and it was situated right over one of the heat ducts which made itnice and warm the entire time we were there!. Our server was polite and checked on us often enough to keep our drinks filled. I had the BLT club sandwich which was a triple decker! It was grilled with butter on the outside slices of bread and the tomatoes were nice and ripe and it had ample bacon slices. It was actually the best BTL I’ve ever had! My husband had the BBQ pork sandwich and said it was very delicious. I highly recommend Jennie Rae’s for hometown good cooking!“

“The waiter Travis did an excellent job. The Chef made our dinner a warm experience of candel light and Jazz music. Every bite was a wonderful delicious experience! Had to try the alligator, fried tomatoes and brussel sprouts. Each brought a new meaning to Yummy 😋 My 1 yr old Grandson enjoyed a wide variety of, sweet potatoes, salmon and greens. Highly recommend♥️“

“Went to Drift on Pine today. Asked for a burger with no bun so the cook put my burger between two pieces of lettuce which I found amazing. Service was great, food was amazing, server was also amazing.“

“Some locals recommended this place to us for dinner, so we decided to give it a try. My first impression was that the place is extremely dated and dark inside. The building is obviously older, along with the decor. The staff was exemplary and our waitress was really friendly and knew service really well. The food is extremely pricey for the area, but you are given large portions. Presentation is pretty much non-existent, but that matters less than the flavor of the food.“

“This was our first visit to the Staymaker, which is the restaurant within the Journeyman Distillery. We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and we were not disappointed! “Grandma’s catered my daughter’s graduation party this weekend and it was phenomenal! We go there often and always recommend it, so it was a must for her party. We ordered for 60 people and in my opinion got way more for a very reasonable price. Almost all our guests went home with a plate and we still have leftovers. If you have not been there go now, breakfast, lunch, dinner it doesn’t matter it’s always 10/10 with their food and service. And if you’re thinking about catering definitely choose Grandma’s!“

Apparently if you are not a regular, they will give your table to one of them even if you reserved months in advance. Hostess and Manager do not value out of owner business so go somewhere else. The only option I could choose was "slow service" but wait staff were better than management.“

There’s a lot of people out there cannot have pepper … that’s why you put salt and pepper shakers on the table so people could put the salt and pepper on the food by themselves. The cooks put way too much pepper on the food especially the mashed potatoes. Don’t need to do that. Nobody else does that.“

As soon as he walks in he gets so excited to see them. Billy and him even have a special hand shake.
