“Tried the place despite all the nasty reviews. Service was fast, shakes tasted great, and burgers were good. Everyone complaining about self-service needs to get over themselves. This is our first time to a steak and shake, we will be back.“

“I was in South Bend for the week and decided to try Roselily based on my dad's recommendation, and I’m so glad we did! We were celebrating our anniversary, and it turned out to be the perfect place for the occasion. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home.

Our waiter, Alex, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Andrew helped guide us through the wine list and gave excellent suggestions. We were particularly impressed with the wine he suggested, it was the perfect pairing to complement our meal.

The menu offered a delightful selection of dishes, and each course we tried was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. You could tell that the chef puts a lot of care into the dishes, and we were so impressed with every bite. It was truly a special experience, and we left feeling like we'd discovered a hidden gem in South Bend.

The neighborhood might seem rough, but trust me, that's where you find the best flavors. The owners and staff are genuinely warm, welcoming, and thankful for your business. “The course itself gets a 6 out of 5 stars for me! Super cool tee boxes over the river and the fairways and greens looked amazing for a muni course. Only complaint I have is the starter; I did not realize I only paid for 9 holes because I asked to play 18 at the pro shop so I assumed that’s what I was charged for (that’s on me for not checking). But when I made the turn at 10 he came out and proceeded to yell at me and told me they were putting the carts away. I said that’s fine and apologized but he continued to give me attitude and talked down to me like I had wronged him personally. It was a misunderstanding and to come at me with such anger was unwarranted. I won’t lie, I had a rough response for him but it just caught me so off guard that someone would be so incredibly rude to another person for a genuine mistake. That being said, and I can’t reiterate this enough, highly recommend this course!! This interaction will not stop be from coming back!“

“I enjoy eating breakfast here because it is deeply tied to the community and area. They are now open til 6p. Make sure to have patience, service is slow. I never received water upon waiting over 1/2 hr for food. However, the food never disappoints. If you are on a low sodium or restricted diet make sure to let them know to be easy on seasonings and fats. I absolutely love supporting local restaurants and small businesses. I was able to add this business to google maps and write the first review.“

“Today I just had my BEST Culver experience ever. We went in thinking average about Culver’s but one of the employees took upon themself to make it our best experience and went above and beyond of what is expected. Not only did CAM make sure our food was ordered fast and fresh, his charisma and positive attitude brought so much more light to our day. He made sure we left as happy or if not more HAPPY than what we entered. He always checked on us, and he made sure we had a good deal when ordering. ON TOP OF THAT, he even went out his way to hold the door for us in our way out. SERVICE 10/10. Cam deserves recognition and a raise for his great contribution to the Culver’s family as well as for his uplifting attitude.“

“My wife and I had dinner there to celebrate our 63rd anniversary. She had the steak and shrimp while I had the shrimp duo (grilled and fried shrimp). The only minor complaints were the croutons on the salad were very salty and the shrimp (all of them) were slightly overcooked. (Not unusual in the midwest) Although we told her not to, the manager took them off the bill. Our server, Lorenzo, was very attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a very good evening. The Chandon champagne splits were VERY reasonable.“

“Googled recommended this place when we were looking for somewhere new to try... but I will say we were not disappointed! The service was prompt and friendly, with nice recommendations toward the menu. The food was great! I had AYCE fish (hake) and it was delicious! The breading was nice and light, so you could actually taste the fish. My hubs had fried chicken and he enjoyed that as well! The best part was the cheese and crackers they brought out with our soup... well definitely come back!“
