“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug“

“I've been a long time fan dating back to when they were in Calumet city. I've used them for catering several times with great success. always enjoy stopping in to grab something to eat as well. I do miss the bone-in pork chop sandwich but I can understand how selling that might be a bit of a liability. LOL all in all, the place never disappoints“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“Went in not too long ago on a Saturday for lunch, from the time we walked in, The owners greeted us with a smile and were very personable, which is a lost art these days, so we were very comfortable from the get go, at that time we had multiple questions about the menu and AGAIN the owners explained every question we had in detail with no fluff, I ordered Italian Wedding Soup which is the BEST I’ve ever eaten, and finished with The Mostro… Great big portions and the food itself was amazing, we finished with desert and when we got the bill… again we was pleasantly surprised… I recommend to the highest powers that be that Ammirato’s Meatball Cafe is a hidden Gem and will definitely return for a different item on the menu“

“Driving on route 30 in Indiana we saw State line Pizza. We decided to go in and to my surprise a nice low key pizza spot. Suzanne our waitress paid attention my order i don't eat meat. I had ordered A Ceasars salad, no idea that Ceasar salad had anchovie paste in the dressing. Suzanne informed me of my options. We also ordered the veggie thin crust pizza, well done the crust was nice and crispy just the way we like it , and the half basket appetizer which was good too and more than enough for two. This State line Pizza gets a double thumbs up.“

“I have ordered Rosati's pizza delivery many times. Delivery was excellent however our pizza tonight was definitely not up to the regular standards. The crust was soggy, it was light on sauce, and could have cooked a few minutes more. I will continue to order Rosati pizza as I feel it is the best in the area. Maybe just a difficult night for the cook.“

“Just had Rosati's, it was fantastic. The crust was great – perfectly cooked and delicious. The sauce was Absolutely amazing. Seriously, one of the best pizza sauces I've had in a long time.
You've got to try the garlic knots; they were killer! Big shout-out to Emily for the great customer service too. She was super friendly and made the experience even better.

“The food here is delicious! The menu is huge. If you’re wanting something a little lighter you can opt for a yummy chicken chop salad. We ended up getting the Italian beef and the Ruben. Both are excellent. The Ruben is the best Ruben I have ever eaten in my entire life hands-down you must get! We also had a vanilla shake and the large sizes are ginormous . The food servings are very generous, everything is very shareable. They even have an area where you can grab a beer if you’d like. The restaurant has a large sitting area and there is a covered back patio. Service is excellent and the restaurant very clean. A great place to stop!“

RESTAURANTS WAS CLEANED BUT I MADE A VISIT AROUND THE 11:00AM HOUR WHEN THEY WERE FIRST OPENED.
ORDERED A SMALL DOUBLE DOUGH SUSAGE AND CHEESE PIZZA.
MY PIZZA WAS READY IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES SO EVEN WHEN ORDERING AT THE RESTAURANT THE PIZZA CAN BE QUICK AND GOOD TO GO.
THE PIZZA WAS GOOD LOVE DOUGHY PIZZA. THE SMALL IS ENOUGH FOR THREE SERVINGS BUT THE SAUCE WAS AT TIMES A LITTLE SWEET - SURPRISINGLY.“

“Definitely want to take a minute and acknowledge the young ladies at the counter, my sister and I came for the $3 pizza special, and was told 3 hours, not a problem! So when we returned, my oh my the place was PACKED! 2 lines, one for placing orders and one for picking up! we patiently waited for our order numbers to be called, after about 10-15 minutes waiting, we were out the door! However, I just wanted to come here and say how disrespectful the other guests were while they were waiting for their orders. Mind you, today was a GREAT SPECIAL, you know it was going to be a busy day for the establishment, and you still want to talk down and scream at the young ladies for not having your pizza out on time. Come on, the oven can only make a certain number at a time, these employees definitely deserve a special recognition, for having to deal with so many INCONSIDERATE humans.“

“This place is going downhill fast. I emailed Aurelios in Schererville about an experience 3 wks ago they NEVER got back to me.... we take my mom here every time we visit her. We've had issues yesterday 5.12.24 and the time before as well. I complained about getting the cookie my mom loves because it was brought to the table and was entirely melted ice cream and whip cream so melted you could pour it like water. Yesterday the pizza was entirely burnt and so hard . If they do something wrong and you complain about it believe you will pay for it if you return. This was our pizza yesterday that we asked them to cut in squares. Happy Mother's day to us.“

“This was our second time in. The first time we just sat at the bar and had dinner. The food was great off the menu and the staff was very friendly. Our second time in we had a party for 50 so we had a food and bar package along with renting simulators. The food was great again and everyone had a lot of fun! Our servers Danielle and Kim were exceptional as was Sean the manager. I highly recommend this place for a fun evening out! We will be back!“
