“I know everyone has their own preference with pizza. Here in the “newer” NWI good pizza is few and far between. There’s hardly if not any, real pizza places out here. Most of the people out here right now are people from the Chicagoland area who have moved out here and this place is hands down the best Chicago south side type pizza place around. Highly recommended. Nobody in this area beats this place“
“The level of service, food and environment are all amazing! The portions are very generous as we always leave full and with leftovers for later. The owners are the sweetest couple. This is our absolute favorite restaurant in the Region! We always recommend Little Italy to friends looking for a restaurant to try.“
“The food, every course, was simply excellent. My wife often orders duck and the Gamba duck was the best she has ever had, very tender, perfect medium rare. Our polenta appetizer and my braised pork shoulder were also excellent. Portions were generous. We dined on Thursday, half-price wine night, and Gamba's wine list has many moderately priced but very good wines to have with dinner. The staff can help diners choose menu items and wines that best meet their tastes. Ample parking.“
“I was a 1st timer and the service was great. The owner gave me an orientation of the various deli products.I left there with a bit of everything - soup, sandwiches, apricot croissant and a large round of tomato basil bread.The atmosphere was quite pleasant.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a dip on the side walk.“
“Will definitely be going back again! We had the meatball bowl, pizza tots, and meatball panini and all were amazing. I had the spicy meatball in my panini and it was delicious. Not overly spicy, just the right amount. Pizza tots were a fun and different appetizer and it did not disappoint. We also had the lemon cake which was very good too. Great customer service as well!“

“I called for carry out. I asked if they were Neapolitan pizza? I was told yes. So I ordered a medium, Neapolitan pizza and what I recieved was not Neapolitan. This would have been a 5 star review had the crust been Neapolitan or had I just wanted a thin crust pizza. My issue is this is not Neapolitan pizza, even if it's very tasty pizza.“
“Hosted a small family and friends luncheon (31 people) with a set menu (Chicken Marsala). For five of the younger kids had the Kids Meal -- they loved the Kiddie Cocktails! We arrived 45 minutes early and the staff reacted toget things moving right away. Very accomodating! My wife and I will definitely go back for dinners and will also consider for future family events.Vegetarian options: Don't recall the details of the vegetarian offering but the vegetarian in the family was pleased.Kid-friendliness: Had the patience of Saints with accomodating the young ones!“
“The waitstaff is AWESOME! Tony was our waiter and he was very friendly and attentive. His demeanor makes you smile. Our drinks were never empty. The food tastes amazing! Romano's has been a fixture in Highland since we moved there.I had the chicken parmesan sandwich, others had the roast beef and onion rings, chicken tenders and fries.They were all very good.Next time I will have the ham and mozzarella hoagie.I didn't have the hoagie this time because I had made hoagie's at home a couple days before. They were good but not quite the same as Romano's.I haven't had the roman burger lately but plan to another time.We have not tried the steak and cheese hoagie.“
“Candace served us this evening. There was a large birthday party and they did an amazing job accommodating everybody. Food was beyond phenomenal, and Candace’s service was incredible. “Came here for a meeting so we had one of their private rooms. It was very conducive to what we needed. Food was good, service was good. “People ask me what I look forward to about coming home to Indiana and Italian beef sandwiches sit near the top of that list. I don't think people get it until they've tried one from northwest Indiana and Pepinos does it well! You can choose from Italian beef, Italian sausage or both. Your choice of cheese, mozzarella is standard. And then your choice of topping. I do giardiniera. Next time I might also try a side of red sauce. “He started selling it a little cart outside of gas station in South Holland. Then he moved into the gas station. Denny open up his own business in South Holland. One of the best beef sandwiches I've ever had. The location and Thornton is nice. Very friendly very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone“
“I'm fortunate enough to live within 2 miles of this Rosati's so delivery to my house is an option. When I call, they always say it'll take an hour but it always arrives in less than an hour. Not complaining here. Just saying I am surprised when someone is at the door and it's my pizza. I always tip a little extra for that kind of service.“
“Always have fresh and delicious slices during lunchtime hours. Pepperoni is quite popular so I advise to call to see if they have slices available before going. They can make a pepperoni pizza for slices by the time you arrive (15 mins)Also their lunch buffet is back open for dine in.“
“Livio's is the charming neighborhood restaurant we need. My husband and I have always had enjoyable experiences with the very sweet waitresses and we always have a filling and affordable meal. The ambiance is "old school", and I think that's what makes it feel a little special when we go there for date night. His favorite is the special steak with the dipping butter, (even though he's a porterhouse guy, this steak is his go-to at Livios), and the dish I can't get enough of is the mushroom ravioli. Bread and salad to start with a generous meal has always left us pleased. Whether you're sitting on the bar side or in the dimly lit dining room, you'll be comfortable and probably have a great time!“
