“We love Brewhouse and visit at least a couple times per month. They rotate their drink menu, there are always good local options (e.g., IPAs, Stouts, Lagers, Sours, Ciders), and they have a nice outdoor seating area that can be used during the warmer months. The bartenders are nice and playful and their food menu includes some clearly identified vegan options. They also have a couple of old arcade games you can play for free and have a bingo night, which is fun.“

“I took My Daughter and 2 Grandsons to eat dinner on Friday, Dec 13th. Our server, Imani C, couldn't have been more irresponsible. 1st, My Grandson ordered a lemonade, and was brought a sprite. He kept it anyway. My Daughter ordered a SMALL salad, and was brought a LARGE one. ( was charged for large) and She kept that too. My Grandsons ordered a pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni. Got pepperoni on ALL of it. So as to not have them wait while my Daughter and I ate, We kept it also. My Daughter ordered My Son In Law a large order of Homer's donuts, only was given 3. Took My Son, Grandsons , and Husband to eat at Texas Roadhouse last week, and We all got steak dinners for the price we paid for Pizzas here!! Have eaten here numerous times before with no problems. This was a horrible visit, and it will be a long time before I bring My Family here again!! ☆☆It was the Schererville In location.☆☆“

“I’ve been all over the U.S. and by far this is the best bar I ever been too mostly locals but great company would 10/10 recommend if you are stopped in the area, only downside they don’t serve food but if you get food nearby feel free to bring it with you but there are plenty of options nearby!!“

“Great pizza, but dropped the ball with service on recent visit. This is one of our favorite places for pizza in the area, and we go there regularly. The food is always good, but today, we sat there for over 20 minutes without a single person stopping by to offer us water, offer to take our drink order or even just acknowledge our being there. It wasn’t even especially busy - most tables were empty. We gave up and went somewhere else.“

I was told that they have been in business 42 years! WOW, and I can see why. They are very friendly and treat you well. The food is fantastic and the locals are very laid back and make you feel welcome as well. If I was local to the area, this bar would be my base! “My honey and I always end our night here. The bartenders are very friendly and have a great sense of humor. We love Sharis and you have to try the chocolate ganache dessert it is absolutely sinful and our favorite! The po-boy sandwich is excellent and my favorite! My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. “I have seen this place there since I was young. we were out with some friends and decided to swing in. It is a quaint, little old homey bar. we loved it!!! The building looks like it is original to the town. (I love old vintage buildings, etc). We bought a round of drinks, hung out for a while, shot a game of pool. The customers and the bartender were very friendly!! Be aware they are a cash only bar (they do have an ATM inside) and it is a smoking bar so if you are sensitive to smoke. We will be back!! The one thing I noticed they changed the sign in the parking lot they had for years. I loved how it had a picture of the parking lot and had some cars, but also had a snowmobile and motorcycle parked together. Odd combination....but humorous!! 🤣 We will be back to support this local business!!“

“This bar is one of many on the stretch of Kennedy Ave north of 165th street and south of the highway. Truly one of the last of its kind and feels like a time capsule walking into it. Friendly staff and cheap drinks, along with pool and darts. Can’t ask for a better dive bar.“
