“We really enjoy Books and Brew. We can go and play games and have a drink, they offer kids BINGO, and we have done cookie decorating and painting classes there. It is close enough to walk to in good weather and just a great addition to our area.Parking: free open parking lot at a strip mall.Kid-friendliness: Great big parking lot.I don't think I have ever been here without my kids. We met with grandparents to hang out and play games too.“
“Stopped by for some dinner with my daughter. One of only a handful of breweries that I'm aware of that are kid-family.The outside area was nice, a little too chilly for me on this visit, but others were out there by heaters. The food was good. The restaurant staff was nice even when I clearly hadn't been there before and asked a dumb question. Bar staff was friendly as well. Only had one beer and it was pretty good.Will have to try them again on another trip.“
“Positive energy at a nearby watering hole. There are several of possibilities available to everyone of them. Make sure to view the artwork created by nearby artists; nearly all of it is available for purchase. Should you want to throw some bags, there's a corn hole on the patio. They don't have a kitchen, but they do provide bread sticks, Broadripple bagel chips, and Greek pizza available by the slice. Since everyone is quite talkative, you might meet some new people. “A wicked venue with their own brews and their own liquors that they make on site. Their bourbon is on point and highly recommended by this connoisseur. Their Vodka is very smooth as well. Get in there and enjoy a show and some drinks. I went in there for the first time last night and it's honestly a place I'd love to spend more time in. Great bands and great drinks.“

We recently discovered this best kept secret and can’t wait to go back. Very cool vibe, great customer service and good beer. They also offer Euchre Nights and Music Bingo. We can’t wait to go back.“
“Great selection of beer, good prices, love the atmosphere, bathrooms, and bar area clean and welcoming. Small business and a great stop for anyone who loves microbrew. Can get full pours or even do a flight to see what you like before you get a full pour. They also feature local artists, have beer yoga, live music now and then, and serve some snacks (no on-site kitchen) have indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Dogs welcome in the outside seating area. I have been going there since at least, 2018.Just a few pics of the brews I love there. But not all of them, that I love. ? “Absolutely AMAZING experience! My girlfriend and I were treated like royalty. Spilled a beer and they brought us a new one. They went out of their way to find a shirt in my size to purchase. The food and beer were great. We visit breweries in every city we visit and this is by far our favorite. 5 stars and we would recommend it to anyone! Even brought out kids and they have a kid menu and games to keep kids occupied! Couldn’t ask for anything better!“

“I got married here in October 2023 and this was sucha great venue. You food, space, bartenders and staff made everything go easy and fun that day. You guys will always have a special place in my heart.But as for the rest. side, the brisket grilled cheese is my favorite sandwich ever sometimes I just find myself thinking abt it randomly.“
“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“
“We met with Chilly Water staff and management to discuss an upcoming event partnership. I had not been to this spot before. Very clean, comfortable, and friendly. I tried a couple of beers and took some home. Very good! We went ahead and grabbed lunch before leaving and was not disappointed!“

“Very very tasty! I have celiac disease, and felt confident eating here, especially due to their separate gluten-free fryer and allergen menu. “Came here on a very busy Sunday night. The hostess was incredibly friendly, updating us with our wait time frequently. Our waiter was nice but forgot about us so we were sitting about 30 minutes before we could place our order.But the food made up for all of that. My husband and I split the bison meatloaf and the pub burger. Both were delicious but the meatloaf was the star of the show. Best meatloaf I think I’ve ever had in my life!! The beer was also really good, and the atmosphere was cool.Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood. There were options if you’re okay to walk.“
“Really nice brewery in Speedway, just down the road from the Indianapolis Speedway. Good selection of a variety of beers, the hazy was great and the German style beers were spot on. Had the pizza and it was delicious. The personal is perfect size for one hungry person. Lots of free parking out front and a garage nearby. They also have a patio for nice days.“
“Hands down my favorite brewery, even before I became a dog mom I would frequent Metazoa. Now that I have a high energy and super social pug I'm here more than once a week. Their mug club membership is totally worth it. Their reward system is top tier, I'm actually able to rack up points pretty quickly without even trying. Chill atmosphere for the most part, does tend to get busy on the weekends. My pups and I love coming here!!!“
“I've had the pleasure of calling this establishment my local watering hole for 7 years. The staff is accommodating and fun. The upstairs bartender, Jeff, is a great source of knowledge about breweries, distilleries, and wineries across the US.One of the main downstairs bartenders, Meghan, makes the best Irish Coffee that I've ever had. She won't steer you wrong on menu recommendations and on the weekly specials. Meghan also makes a killer Bloody Mary.“
“The OG Sun King location! I've been coming since the start of this space (back when hot pockets were on the menu #iykyk) and it's been so much fun to watch things grow. They offer alllll the selections and special batches, in addition to cocktails and seltzers. Not drinking? No problem, a few N.A. options as well. No babysitter, no problem as they the space is all ages on one side. Not to mention a dedicated parking lot which is hard to come by in downtown. Lastly, they have NACHO inside the brewery for all of your hunger needs! Nachos to share, tacos and chips with dips! Definitely check it out with friends or a date if you're downtown!“
“Today is my first day ever in Indianapolis, and as I was doing some DoorDash.. stumbled upon this brewery, and I thought to myself.. why not? Been a long 9 hour drive across Kentucky up to Indiana.. Why not?Oh my word! This Brewery is IT! My first beer was a simple sour Blackberry (the red drink) and damn it hit the spot for $7! Then I got the Dragonfly IPA (because ya boi loves those IPAs) and it’s $4 today! Perfect! Got two Dragons! Yes!I ordered the Blue Cheese Fume burger which is somewhat spicy but filled with with rich, savory flavors and oh it’s soooooo GOOOD!!!! The fries are crisp and delicious!!!If you come to Indianapolis and want some good food and have money…UPLAND BREWING CO. 100% !!“
“I was not planning on eating at what looked like the equivalent of a mall food court… but I’m damn glad I did. The bartenders really engaged, and really cared about finding the best drink for me. The food was awesome. Vanessa and Mike were the best - just friendly people who are fun. I’m going to go out of my way to come back the next time I’m in Indy.“
