“**El Globo Bakery Review**I recently visited El Globo Bakery in Indiana Speedway, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The pan francés, which I've had on multiple occasions, consistently tastes old and lacks the freshness you'd expect from a bakery. It's quite disappointing to see no improvement in this aspect.Moreover, I noticed that the staff making the bread do not use gloves or hats to cover their hair. This lack of basic hygiene practices is concerning and definitely something that needs to be addressed. A bakery should prioritize cleanliness and food safety, and El Globo Bakery falls short in this regard.To make matters worse, the cashiers were quite rude during my visit. Friendly customer service is crucial for a pleasant experience, and the attitude of the staff left much to be desired.Overall, while the bakery has potential, these issues with freshness, hygiene, and customer service significantly detract from the overall experience. I hope they make the necessary changes to improve.“

The interior looks nice, but this doesn’t really seem like a coffee shop meant for spending a lot of time in. There wasn’t much seating I could see, so this is definitely more of a takeout spot. “We recommend Salt on Mass for its incredible consistency. The experience is always welcoming and forever delicious. My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. “Date night at Bocca never disappoints. My wife and I live near downtown, and it’s become one of our favorite spots. We grabbed seats at the bar last night, where Maritza proved she can shake a cocktail like nobody’s business. The carbonara is my go-to—hands down the best I’ve had this side of, well, Italy. The oysters are my favorite in Indy, always perfectly shucked, and the wine list makes me grin every time I spot my favorite Vermentino. You don’t have to be a neighbor to feel like one once you’re at Bocca!“

The drinks were fairly priced, but was sad they were out of rootbeer. Main issues: not enough restrooms & at least for this event they didn't have enough bartender for the size. Will probably look for other show or event to justify coming out this far north.“

A few weeks ago, we had dinner for a friend's birthday. Overall, a party of around 8-10 on a Sunday night. We had a fantastic server all evening, who was attentive and had good humor. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was so nice and cozy.
It was the first time I've been there in many, many years, and I don't know why we don't try to visit more often.“
