“We recommend Salt on Mass for its incredible consistency. The experience is always welcoming and forever delicious. My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. We continued with the Firecracker pasta with salmon and lobster. So much meat. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I was quite impressed and will be back.“

“My first visit here with my Indy family on 6/20/21. There was a total of four of us. We had reservations. We were greeted up upon entry and seated at our dining table at a booth section. I honestly forgot the occasion as to why we came here to eat dinner and celebrate. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful restaurant. Very spacious and clean. The ambience setting was comfortable, and I enjoyed the interior aesthetics of the restaurant.

I ordered shrimp and grits. It was flavorful and delicious! 😋 The rest of my family had ordered the caramelized grilled Sea scallops, Filet mignon, and Maine lobster tail, lobster bisque and avocado toast. They all enjoyed their meal. Our server was great and pretty attentive.

The atmosphere felt classic, welcoming, and full of history, which made the evening feel even more special. Our steaks were absolutely incredible — perfectly cooked, flavorful, tender, and honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. You can absolutely tell why St. Elmo’s is so well known. And of course… we have to talk about the famous horseradish cocktail sauce. WOW. It absolutely lives up to the hype. It has the perfect kick and flavor, and it’s one of those things you keep thinking about long after dinner is over. Definitely a must-try experience all on its own. What made the evening even more meaningful was celebrating Mother’s Day there together. Great food always creates memories, and this was one of those dinners we will always look back on fondly. Food was delicious with the main dishes mostly starting at the $20 range. Ceaser salad was one of the best I have ever had. Garlic cheese bread is on the garlic-y side but we like it that way. Meatball dish was chefs kiss. We asked the waiter for wine selection recommendation and were super helpful. Wait staff was attentive.“

They only have a couple of tables since it’s located inside Saraga grocery store, so we had to share the table with other customers, in which we didn’t mind at all! On the table they also have chilli oil, soy sauce, salt, and pepper!“

Although my order took more than 30 minutes, the employee at the front desk did all she could and was very attentive to the waiting customers. She even checked up on each one of us, placing us ahead of the kitchen queue so we would get our orders as soon as possible. You could tell every one of them were trying their best. In the future, it would be helpful to provide more accurate wait times. The food itself was delicious, and I appreciate the effort the team put in during such a busy day. “I've eaten many places in my 44 years. I can unequivocally say this is the best meal I've had in my life. I had the salmon on a bed of crab meat rice. I took a bite of just the rice first and my eyes rolled back in my head. Incredible flavor. Bob is an amazing server, ask for him, the staff was great, I was blown away. It was pricy no doubt. Two seafood entrees, a small filet, two shareable sides, and three cocktails was $330 plus tip. And it was honestly well worth it. I was in town for a game from 2 hours away. I would go back just to eat there, game or no game. We were told that the Indiana Pacers often eat there after games, so keep that in mind - I'm sure they have a private room though.“
