“Great for a quick lunch! We popped in the other day while buzzing around the Whitestown area. The server was quick to seat us and take our order both without making us feel rushed. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated from Valentine's Day. The food was super tasty and reasonably priced, too. Definitely worth a pop in if you want a good Thai lunch.“
“Had a fantastic little dinner experience. The Squash Wellington was a beautiful dish that tasted twice as good as it looked. Our server, Landis, was very professional, friendly, and kept us well stocked with water throughout the night. To top in all of the strawberry cheesecake (the weekly dessert special) was a great end to the meal.“
“Food was great with fair prices. They have a great selection of choices. I only had sushi and Unagi Don (which I was surprised by, I don't come across this often at other Japanese cuisine) this time around. Dishes were plated very nicely“
“We live in the Keys (Key Largo). There is an overwhelming keys vibe here! This is our go to when we are visiting our family in Zionsville. We love that they added a kid friendly brunch on Saturday & Sundays. The atmosphere, staff & food are amazing!! Definitely 5 stars!David & Candace“
“Very good appetizers, the crab artichoke dip is officially one of my favorites now. But sadly after spending so much on the twin lobster tails I was severely disappointed. I could barely cut the meat, let alone chew it… had to spit out two bites because it wasn't chewable…. I had to get a steak knife to even attempt to cut it and even then had to tug and rip just to get bite sized pieces. All the effort to be chewing what felt like pure connective tissue and no meat with every bite. I was so excited as it was my birthday dinner as well, live and learn. If I come back again I’ll stick to appetizers and maybe a burger or something for my entree./update. They personally reached out to me to apologize for my experience and refunded my mother, who paid for my birthday dinner, in full for the lobster tails. I truly believe it was just an unfortunate one off. I should have sent them back when I first had the problem. But I’m too polite and non-confrontational for my own good.“
“Service was phenomenal and so was the food! The place was clean and well kept. The lady taking my order was so nice. I had never visited this location and didn't know what to get. She took her time going through everything and recommending items.“
“My recent dining experience, today, leaves me to believe this is one of the best dining options in the state. Our server, AJ, was absolutely amazing, reminds us of a young Fred Sirieix with his friendliness and quality of service. The food is flawless in every dish, especially the PIADAKIA (lamb chops). There isn’t much else to say, it’s just an amazing dining experience.“
“The closest thing I know to true Asian street food in Indy. Bao Si (Rice flour steamed buns) are a staple on route to subway and portable. These are chinese breakfast with vegatable or pork ball inside. Also popular here is the Beef Noodle soup and Lo Mien Zu Ro (Beef Fried noodles) which is also one of my favorites. Hen Hao Zhong Fan Dien. (Very good lunch restaurant). Gong Xie!!“
“The cutest restaurant on Main! The day I visited the staff was behind and they were up front about being behind. They asked if we could wait 15 mins. so that the staff could catch up. I did not mind and they also were very thankful in return. The menu presented refreshing options for this Carmel resident. It’s one of a kind and the food was delicious. I tried the blackened tilapia sandwich and my husband had the short rib and pimento grilled cheese. We both found our choices satisfactory. I also had the side of coconut rice and black beans which was slightly sweet as expected and still great. As for our appetizer the crab and artichoke dip was delightful. This is a must try for everyone!“
“Four of us dined at Nyla's last night and it was fantastic! The wedge salads were very tasty as was the Mushroom Cream Soup (both came with the meal). The two of us that ordered the Chicken Milanese said it was delicious! Another in our party ordered the Bone-In Pork Chop and declared it to be fabulous! (the presentation was beautiful) I had the Sea Bass and it melted in my mouth...so delicious! The cauliflower risotto that came with the dish was such a nice surprise and a wonderful accompaniment to the Sea Bass. Outstanding food, outstanding service and outstanding atmosphere...they have it all!“
“Interesting wrap-around the bar dining area. Amazing cheese curds appetizer. Extensive menu. Farm fresh green beans and asparagus. Great short ribs and meatloaf. Perfect high-end bar alcohol. Outstanding server in Adrianna who hooked up our two birthday guests with complimentary brownie sundae and caramel pecan bread pudding. Wonderful evening!“
“Amazing food! The oysters were top notch! They told me Tuesdays that have oyster specials! I also had the scallops and pistachio cheescake. Everything was perfect and just the right portion! Can't wait to check out Tuesdays! I think Wednesday was half price wine also I think.“
“Our waiter was wonderful and very attentive. Never had to ask for refills and recommended different foods that we were interested in. Food was great best patty melt I have ever had. A lot of food which was worth the price we paid. It's more upscale than most pub or bar food. The Keylime pie was absolutely amazing. Closest to authentic I have had in Indiana.“
“There is always ample parking, very nice servers, EXCELLENT DRINKS, great food....and most times, there is something good to watch on the tv's. I've come during the day, weekends, and nights and never had a bad experience. They are not usually super busy, and I get seated quickly and courteously. The chef even came out to my table at my ladt visit and explained to my brother how the crawfish was cooked, seasoned, and offered him a sample prior to placing his order. THAT'S GENUINE GOOD SERVICE RIGHT THERE. The food was impeccable!!!!Dietary restrictions: I am a diabetic and the server took the time to help me pick out the perfect meal that would not send my glucose numbers through the roof....who does that. Parking: Ample parking near the door or in the main lot....Never a problem finding a good spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Right up front by the door....multiple handicapped parking spots available.“
“My family and i have been going here for years, they always treated us with kindness. The owner too was always so nice to me and family, even if there was a language barrier, they would still find a way to communicate with us. The food is quite amazing and the service is fantastic , would definitely recommend to others!“
“The sushi is outstanding. I eat sushi once a week and Chiba is now my new goto place for serval reasons. The bar area is in a separate building with a quaint seating area and a great vibe. The owner Keith is very involved with running the business and doing whatever is necessary from making drinks, taking orders and running plates. Keith is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Chiba and don't miss the spicy tuna and spicy Salmon. Keith makes a mean Sazerac too. I will definitely be back!“
“One of the best Japanese restaurants in Indianapolis in terms of quality and price. They have a wide menu that includes sushi, ramen, udon, bento, donburi, etc.The interior decor is fun, and there is plenty of seating. We were able to be seated as a table of 2 without waiting around 7pm on a Friday night. The atmosphere is lively, but it still makes for a great date night. We each ordered an entree and shared a roll of sushi and two appetizers --more than enough! I highly recommend the takoyaki and squid appetizers. They are really filling and delicious. ⚠️ Be careful not to burn yourself biting into the takoyaki!I also got the tempura udon. The broth is so savory and well seasoned. The tempura also showed up hot and crisp.I can't wait to eat here again!“
“Went here for the first time yesterday! Wonderful customer service! He over heard it was my first time and gave me an extra crab cluster for free?the seasoning they use on the seafood is perfect! Flavorful but not too salty and I can taste the freshness of the lemon in the butter sauce ? I will definitely be coming back and telling people to come here to get their seafood fix!!“
“Thai Thai is located in the former Sawasdee site. We tried them for dinner for the first time this evening. I personally rate it as the best Thai food I have tasted in the north side of this town.We ordered a small bowl of Thai noodle soup with tofu, Yum Woon Sen (glass noodle salad with pork slices), Basil duck stir fry, Vegetables lover with pork. All came with rice (See photos) .All dishes were cooked with very fresh ingredients, the pork and duck were tender and NOT overcooked like many other Thai in town. More importantly, their sauce is NEVER sweet like many other Thai joints in town. All in all, a very pleasant discovery after so many other Thai disappointments in this town. We will go back and also recommend this restaurant to our friends and in here.[Disclaimer: they did not ask me to say all these good words. These are our honest but critical assessments].“
“Delicious food. Great service. We've used them a number of times. Basically every year we visit, we make it a point to get food from here! They also have food for kids that aren't Mexican in case you have kids that are difficult to please.“
“Absolutely wonderful! The restaurant itself is both elegant and contemporary. The staff is exceptional! The open kitchen with woodfire grill makes the whole place smell amazing. My wife's scallops risotto was delicious and my filet made my top 10 steaks ever. Can not recommend this place enough!“
“We enjoyed a nice dinner. The restaurant was quite busy, as would be expected on a Saturday evening. Our server, Julia, was pleasant, attentive, and did a fine job. The food is consistently very good. We are never disappointed when dining here.“
“One of the best! Bring cash. Ordered takeout - red snapper and yellowtail nigiri… great! Also got cherry blossom, tiger eye, and rainbow rolls. All very VERY good. Cherry blossom and rainbow rolls were pretty small, but the flavor was definitely there! Cherry blossom roll was my favorite. Asked for “a lot of wasabi,” but had to go back for more as I only got one additional small scoop. They charge extra fee to pay with card, undisclosed until I was actively paying.“
“You want a seafood place to be busy, and this one is. It's busy because it's very good, like a restaurant on the beach in Zihuantanejo or..... San Blas!Wide range of seafood and all have been very good. The house cocktails should not be missed either. They do a version of something i would call a Mezcal Old Fashioned that is excellent.“
“We have dinner dates here a handful of times every year. It's a lovely place inside or out in the porch, especially in nice weather. Reminds me a touch of when I lived on the coast. We haven't even had a dish we didn't like... Crab cakes, soups, pork chop, pastas... Key lime pie, all delightful. At the time of this review spring 2024, in the years we've been coming this is a first so I'll not adjust my rating, However......??the more recent change in bread/ rolls is poor, they're dry and flavorless, so don't come for the rolls, If that's your thing,)?? We had reservations and Inside they tried seating us in an area with work being done, with sticky subflooring (is that even allowed !?! and other remodeling and that's just poor taste, there were lots (dozens) of open tables as it was early yet so we requested another table and we were accommodated.“
“Found this place while driving to our hotel. It was excellent! We were the only non-Spanish speakers there, which meant it was "authentic" mexican food. The servers spoke little English, so we just pointed to what we wanted. I got the Nacho Supremos and my hubby got the Shrimp Tostada....outstanding! Next time we visit our Nephew and Niece in law who live in Indianapolis, we will need to bring them here!“
“Located in the parking lot in between Long John Silvers and What the Pho restaurant. After the Whitestown location closed I was really missing their catfish sandwich. I didn't realize they had a food truck so close to me. Had their catfish today and I was satisfied. I waited a whole year to eat it again. ;_; Wish they offered fries too. Will be coming back.“
“Stopped in for a quick bite and for the price it was solid! The sushi deal was 3/$12 and it was pretty mid. I was hoping the shrimp tempura was made with larger and fresher shrimp but for the price, no complaints. The Philly roll was good and overall good time.“
“Stopped in on a whim because their parking lot stays packed and it is just 10 min from my house. It was late afternoon on a Saturday and while there was a good crowd I was able to sit down right away. This place is A Mexican Restaurant but they spring seafood so along with the salsa and chips you also get a bit of fish ceviche. The chips are made fresh and are absolutely delicious we got a Red and Green salsa both were delicious the res salsa was smoky and mild and the green was bright and spicy. I was not hungry but ordered shrimp empanadas and tacos. I thought I could get one of each but when ordering the waitress asked if I wanted 2 so I said of course. My husband loves spicy food and he ordered the devil shrimp which he loved. He Said the sauce was amazing and unique. We are Already planning our next visit because we regret we didn't get dessert. I almost forgot to mention the live music. Their are musicians hoping to get in“
“The cashier help to me she let me know what's in each dish how much it costs and if it was enough to feed two people I appreciate her the food was absolutely delicious I had the taste for barbecue today I wanted to go to off the Bone on East 10th Street I got turned around and redirected end up at her place I'm glad I went there thank you“
“We love the chicken wings so much we have made them part of our annual Thanksgiving feast and they go quickly. We preordered and everything was ready when I arrived. Parking is plentiful anytime I go there it's affordable. I recommend the chicken and don't pass on the lemon pepper!“
“Family owned and operated! Customer service is always so kind and helpful, especially for take out orders. We have been frequenting this place for the last 8 years and it's only gotten more delicious. We love the yum yum chicken and giant crab wontons. Anytime we are on the west side, we are grabbing food from this place only. Thank you for the many years of great food!“
“I really love eating here there. But they sold me some scorched beans. The last time she gave me the option this time no option. So no I don't want any scorch beans. I will probably visit again.Cause I like their sandwiches and their beans.“
“This place is definitely a hole in the wall for eating! Please don't pay attention to the aesthetics or atmosphere. The chicken wings and fries with that honey garlic pepper seasoning/ sauce is where it's at. It'll make you forget you had to clutch your purse or hold onto your wallet for dear life. And Be sure to place your order over the phone or you might be waiting a while. Especially on the weekends.“
“The original evening plan was for the Mrs. & I to play laser tag, but there was an hour wait until the next game.. what to do? Easy..eat of course! Tucci's was right around the corner & since we hadn't been in awhile.. why not? We hadn't been because even though they're pretty good, they had limited seafood selections, & we're pescatarian. Much to our surprise, they'd made some tasty additions to their menu since we were there last. The staff was friendly & actually remembered us from the last time we were there.. after playing laser tag..?With the cool atmosphere, & more for us to choose from on the menu now, we'll probably be back again sooner than later.. my best guess is.. it'll probably be the next time we go play laser tag..???Dietary restrictions: My wife has a few dietary restrictions, but they've always been more than willing to modify her dish to make sure it was to her liking.Parking: I've never had a problem finding free parking on the street or directly across the street in a big free lot.“
“I was disappointed there is no dining-in, nor public toilets. Carry-out only.I did order the Lemon Garlic Shrimp. It is over rice with bell peppers, onion, and more. The dish was very good, and the size enuff for 2 maybe 3 people.I was satisfied with the meal.“
“Daddy, Jack's is an outstanding restaurant to meet friends and colleagues for lunch and dinner. You can always expect top-notch service and their food is always cooked to temperature. Overall, we've been happy with our experience at this location.“
“The guy that takes our orders is very nice and welcoming. Our food is always fresh and delicious. It's best to call ahead of time to order as there may be a bit of a wait. My only complaint is that we didn't receive the coleslaw that come with the 15 piece jumbo shrimp dinner (my fiance loves coleslaw and was looking forward to trying it) Our children especially enjoyed the tenders. Overall a good experience. I highly recommend.“
“This place is our go-to for Mexican restaurants. Best service, best service workers; I really don't have an end to the amount of great things to say about this place. Menu selection is more than sufficient, drink selection is great as well.“
“Had a great birthday experience with my daughter & son-in-law. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Sushi was fresh and good size portions. Great drinks selections and the Old Fashions were delicious. Prices are in line for this class & style of restaurant. Sorry I don’t have better pictures. Got so excited about eating we dug right in. Will return.Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten-free menu as well“
