“The hype on FaceBook doesn’t do this place justice! I was so surprised that this little Mexican Restaurant serves breakfast at all, let alone the best breakfast I’ve had all year. It was amazing! 🤩 There was ao much food for such an affordable price. It’s like the prices everywhere in the world went up except this little place… like time stood still with the prices. 😋 At Sophia’s (Michigan City) my last breakfast was like $16, but here Marty & my breakfast came to just $18!! 🤑

Having chips & salsa at breakfast was a little weird, but she brought them when we sat down. The salsa wasn’t too hot and it was super thick! I liked it 👍

I got the full order of biscuits & gravy, 2 eggs, and I guess it came with home fries (hash browns) too! They couldn’t fit it all on one plate, so it came on two plates. I filled up on the biscuits & gravy and brought the rest home. 😜

Marty got the French toast combo with eggs, and his also came with home fries (hash browns), AND 2 bacon strips, AND 2 sausage links!! 😱 His also came on 2 plates. He got filled up on just the French toast and bacon, and he also brought the rest home.

The poor owner was running himself ragged. An employee didn’t show up for work today so he was cooking, AND taking orders, AND prepping for lunch & dinner meals. 😳 His wife doesn’t speak any English, but she was helping serve the food. I swear the guy looked like he was going to cry 😢.

They had just recently added Breakfast to the menu to try to help bring in revenue and it’s taken off much more than he expected apparently 😜 I can see why! They were full this morning even tho they don’t open til 9am. People were waiting for them to open! Ha ha 🤣“

“We had El Salto cater our wedding and they were amazing from start to finish!!! We had a taco bar with chicken and beef along with fajita veggies for our vegetarian guests. We also had rice, beans, guacamole, queso, and chips and salsa! Great prices, great communication and just all around a wonderful experience!! Thank you, Caitlin and the El Salto team! A++++++ highly recommend!!“
