I went inside. The fully automated "self serve" kiosks weren't very user friendly. Easy to navigate but you don't have much in there to customize your meal even though there are such buttons available. The menu does not have the same items offered in the drive through. The lobby was garbage. The floor was dirty; tables were unbalanced, and every and I do mean every table base, had a ring of dirt and rust that made me leave. I haven't been to a steak 'n shake since they became automated. Using a kiosk it was really difficult and frustrating when I expected waitstaff. The two employees were very kind and as attentive as they could be, the food was good but the garlic burger just had tablespoon of butter on top of it it was kind of gross to pick up the burger with all the grease on top.... It would be much better to be inside yhe bun.

This place is DISGUSTING. I walk in and the first thing I notice is how dirty this place is. I used to love steak n’ shake but now it is nasty and gross. There was trash in between seats and on the floors and none of the tables had been wiped, obviously.There were kiosks which weren’t very user friendly, and the staff offered absolutely NO help.
