“Soup and salad were ok. Nothing super special. Soup had too much pepper, but I like pepper.Would NOT recommend the sandwiches- very basic, not all that tasty.With that out of the way, the matcha was great. Not too bitter or grassy and nice and creamy as well.Nice atmosphere; service was fine.“
“I have always heard stories of how great this place was so I am glad I finally got to see for myself. Me and my girlfriend walked right on in and was greeted in the most comforting way. The atmosphere was very homey so I knew it'd be a excellent experience. Our waitress was Vicky and she was on it! Me and my girlfriend got the French toast breakfast I am made I didn't take a picture but we were way to anxious to see if it was as good as it looked....IT WAS. “I admit I was one of those long time Starbucks addicts. I always knew that I could get a drink I enjoyed with Almond or Oat milk at any Starbucks. The problem with Starbucks many times is having to wait, sometimes quite a long time to get my drink. Not with Scooters. Even if there is a line of 4 or 5 cars I know I won't be waiting more than a few minutes for my drink. Speaking of the drinks, Scooters espresso is smooth and delicious. Sometimes Starbucks can be a bit too strong or bitter/acidic but Scooters is ALWAYS spot on, every time. Also, make sure to get the Scooters app. Their rewards system is great and the app is easy to use. My one complaint is that I can't customize the number of pumps of syrup in my drinks on the app if I'm ordering ahead. But that isn't an issue because Scooters is so quick that ordering ahead isn't necessary. I am a convert! Scooters has definitely won me over.Vegetarian options: Milk alternatives are available.Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free drinks, make sure to ask.“
“My husband was getting his hair cut across the street at Johnny's (by the way, excellent barber shop) and I happened to glance across the street and see a COFFEE sign. Being a coffee lover, I had to make my way over to check it out. I was immediately greeted as I stepped through the door by a wonderful barista at the rear of the shop. We chatted a bit while she was preparing my brew; she was very helpful and pleasant, too. The clean, locally-owned shop also has food, pastries, and some neat trinkets and treasures for purchase. Thank you for creating a wonderful latte for me!“
“Some of the best coffee I've ever had period. I particularly recommend the Colombian Supremo or the South Bend Brew Werks blend. I have bought locally and ordered online, was fresh roasted in both cases, I will say though that if you decide to visit them, definitely call ahead as their availability can be a bit hectic.“
“The gift shop is great. I'm from CA so I got some cute souvenirs to take back. The wagon ride, carriage ride and house tour are a must. Fun to learn about Amish people and the way they live their lives. The restaurant was fabulous. Esther our waitress was super sweet, friendly and very knowledgeable. We loved everything we ordered. There happened to be a small car show outside. The theatre house we have to come back and see. They actually have live plays and you can do dinner/play combos. A definite must see!“
