“Easily the strongest coffee program in Lafayette, in terms of bean selection (including a fun co-ferment?!), drinks, barista training, and equipment. Visited multiple times over the course of a week and they nailed the drinks and the service every time.

Beans are roasted in Carmel, IN and are done fully in-house. They are neither private labelling nor do they roast via bellwether.

Cortados and pourovers were on point and served in real glassware, rather than just to-go cups. I wish the Colombia pourover had more extraction, but the other pourovers were still prepared well.

The shop does not feel like a library, despite being study/work friendly. You can have conversations without it being awkward. Modern third-wave shop vibes.

The location on Google Maps takes you to the rear of the shop, as a heads up. There’s ample parking in the rear lot.“

“This is my wife and I’s favorite restaurant in the Greater Lafayette area. #1!! We regularly go for brunch. Drinks are amazing. Out door seating area is very nice. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience here and have even had conversations with other patrons while enjoying the patio area.“

“Fuel is awesome. I spent over 5 years at Purdue and Fuel on Northwestern Ave was a fixture throughout my PhD. So much so that it earned an honorable mention in the acknowledgements section of my thesis. The coffee is always great and so is the food. I have bought many packs of beans from them too (emphasis on the word many). I was back in West Lafayette this weekend for the commencement and had lunch there with my parents. As always, the food was delicious. Whenever I come back to West Lafayette, I'll be back at Fuel for at least a coffee and Zucchini bread. I urge you to do the same.“

Best coffee and the friendliest staff. Here are some drinks I’ve tried and loved (or my friend did!):

☕ Iced Latte with Vanilla Syrup – A true classic that never disappoints. The beans are smooth and flavorful. Definitely my go-to once I’ve tried everything else on the menu!

🍮 Cloudy Salted Caramel – A little on the sweeter side for me, but my friend loved it. Perfect if you like dessert-style drinks.

🍵 Dubai Chocolate Matcha – Unique and highly recommended if you enjoy pistachio-like flavors. I absolutely love this one ❤️

🍫 In a Minute – One of their signatures. Dark chocolate + cinnamon + espresso = perfection. The cinnamon blends so well—cinnamon lovers, this one’s for you!“

“Remy (I really hope I'm spelling her name right) was an amazing barista at this location. She was able to accommodate me and went above and beyond in her service. She was so sweet and kind when she didn't have to be. She deserves a raise! Wonderful experience and an even more wonderful barista.“

“Divine! Taro milk tea is so good, seems above average ingredients, fresh milk and tangy taro. Very expensive for tea overall hoping they bring out a rewards program, Thai tea was sadly not up to Tsaocaa standards. Am missing Miss Sugars Oreo shake, maybe can find a similar treat here, we have been twice and loved most everything so far. Tiramisu was tasty. They need bigger desserts for groups to split. Excellent location with annoying parking but is free after seven, I do see myself plopping down this fall for the outdoor seating and trying more on the menu.“

“This Starbucks is at a good location. There’s a lot of space for parking and for seating inside the store. The interior is also good and likable. I enjoy going there and sitting there with my laptop for my work because of all these reasons.“

“Not the fanciest coffee shop, but my favorite coffee spot on campus no question. I'm a graduate student and Lavazza perfectly fits my coffee needs during the work week. Helps that there for coffee is roughly 50 cents cheaper than other near by coffee shops.“

“I really really enjoy the food they serve at Harrison Grill. It's a great complement to the dining courts and it's awesome for Sunday nights or any late night cravings. The menu has great variety and is not horribly expensive. Easily my favorite place to use my dining dollars.“
