“Nori Japanese Steakhouse offers hibachi and sushi at a reasonable price with a great staff. I've noticed some area Japanese hibachi restaurants offer hibachi, that is cooked in the kitchen and brought out to your table after its been prepared. Other area Japanese hibachi restaurants don't offer sushi, but Nori had everything we were looking for. I believe there are 4 or 5 hibachi tables spread throughout this medium sized restaurant in a strip mall. The staff were very accommodating as we didn't have a reservation but were sat right away. There is also a bar in the middle which offers a good unobstructed view of the hibachi. The chef for our hibachi experience was the best. He was funny, knowledgeable, and accommodating and would definitely be a reason I will be returning. Even if Nori is a little out of your way, it's absolutely worth visiting.“

“Starting with the stellar service provided by our serv er Calistsa, we had the very best Anniversary experience. She helped guide us. The sushi items are beyond belief and a culinary treat Not only did the food we eat delight our tastebuds they were beautiful. I will add pics to this review in a bit. If you have every had ceviche before please order here. Their ceviche is so lovely...just spicy enough...with such a nice citrus addition. It's a bit pricier than some places but I admit - they earned every cent from the service to the food quality. The Godzilla pics on the wall where we sat also were the best and entertained everyone in our area. I plan on Blue Sushi being one of our regular date nite locations.“

“We have lived in the area for a couple of years, moved here from Chicago. We have finally found a good all you can est sushi spot! The food is prepared well and in good proportions, not shaved too thin and not too thick to easily bite into. Their menu has several rolls, but not many choices for sushi and sashimi, which was the only negative we experienced. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the helpful servers. We will definitely be going back !“

“Excellent ambiance, very friendly service and some of the best sushi I've personally ever had! We had the agedashe tofu appetizer followed by the crunchy tuna roll, volcano roll and sumo roll with a side of tuna and salmon sashimi. Everything was phenomenal!! Great food at very reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed!“

“Visited for dinner on a weekday; a few other diners but still nice and quiet. The Taro bubble tea was delicious, it has lots of ice crystals, which isn’t the norm but it was wonderful. Shrimp tempura roll was wonderful, it came with 8 pieces that i was able to share. We split one hibachi meal, it fed both of us with a full box of left overs. I’d say it was about $10 per person, the combo was $20 but was properly portioned. Our server was very nice and accommodating.“

“Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Carmel, Indiana offers an authentic Japanese ramen experience that is worth the 20-minute drive from Fishers. The beautifully decorated restaurant welcomes you with the traditional Japanese greeting "Irasshaimase!" from the busy cooks in the kitchen. The menu is sizeable, with a large selection of mouth-watering appetizers, 12 different flavors of ramen, and 4 rice dishes. When my vegetable ramen and edamame arrived, I was amazed by the presentation and rich aroma. The fresh noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth was deliciously tender and fatty. The salty and rich broth, made with French sea salt, kelp, and bonito, was far superior to any instant ramen I had tried before. The staff was kind and responsive, and the service was fast. I would recommend Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya to anyone looking for a genuine Japanese ramen experience.“

“A nice quiet little place with a great selection of items! Staff is friendly and more than willing to make adjustments to menu items if you ask!Do note that the staff doesn’t speak perfect English so you may want to make sure that you got your order correct and be patient with them. I highly recommend the Ramen and hibachi/fried rice dishes the most. The strawberry peach tea they serve is also excellent even for someone like me who hates peaches!“

“I'm always delighted to find a good restaurant near where I live and it delivers. Focus seems to be on the actual hibachi area, since it seems to be the busiest area. Expect to wait if you want to sit there. A lot of parties tend to be there.“

“I came to ocean world for lunch and they have so many delicious options as lunch specials. Our server was polite and attentive, asking if we wanted a refill on drinks as we were getting close to finish our cups. The decor was not my favorite but it was still a clean environment, with paper lined tables for easy cleanup. I ordered the Las Vegas roll and the sweet chili shrimp, both of which were delicious. I'll be back for lunch again soon!“

“Very cute hole in the wall right next to Payless. Super cute interior and friendly staff. Plenty of indoor seating but takeout is available. Our food was excellent and the server was extremely attentive. There are lots of options, and rolls I haven't even heard of! Offer hibachi and bento boxes, boba, wine & sake along with the extensive sushi menu.“

“One of the best! Bring cash. Ordered takeout - red snapper and yellowtail nigiri… great! Also got cherry blossom, tiger eye, and rainbow rolls. All very VERY good. Cherry blossom and rainbow rolls were pretty small, but the flavor was definitely there! Cherry blossom roll was my favorite. Asked for “a lot of wasabi,” but had to go back for more as I only got one additional small scoop. They charge extra fee to pay with card, undisclosed until I was actively paying.“

“Playboy(shrimp tempura, asparagus, spicy tuna, tempura chips topped with cooked shrimp, 3 specialty sauce) - very very sauce heavy. Maui (shrimp tempura, cream cheese, asparagus topped with mango, avocado, unagi sauce) - light on mango which was the reason I got it. Crunch Munch (crab, spicy mayo, tempura chips topped with cooked shrimp, unagi sauce)“

“I want to recommend this restaurant but I'm not sure... they did great with our group, including children. they sang happy birthday and that was fun ! they were cautious with our allergies. the cook was engaging and the food was good but there wasn't much of it. the portions were fairly small from what we have received at other area hibachi places. I guess I expected more, maybe order another side of rice in addition to the meal next time.“

“We had hibachi for a team work lunch at 11:30am. Service was quick, and the food was solid. Interior decor was classy, but the hibachi chef seemed a bit green.I say that because I've been to my fair share of hibachi places, and there were a few hiccups this time: the onion volcano was messy with oil leakage, so the fire didn't shoot up so much as spread around the onion; and his aim was bad so most everyone ended up with fried rice hitting them in the face ?Also, FYI, if you choose soup for your entree, it's a clear soup or like a broth --not miso.“

“Friendly welcome when I entered. I ordered Hibachi chicken dinner with onion soup for carry out. The wait took about about 10 minutes. They offered a beverage at no cost while I waited. I asked for sweet tea. It didn't taste very good. The chicken dinner with veggies and fried rice was delicious. Everything had an unexpectedly strong grilled taste which I like. The soup was pretty good too. Definitely worth the drive for me from Fort Harrison.“

“The place is nice and small. There is always a wait to get in, we waited around 30min for us two to get a table (we got there around 5:30, and got sat at 6pm).The workers and our server were super nice, but I feel like a little understaffed in general (for example, there was only one sushi maker when we were there).Food was really good. We came during the happy hour, where the sushi, hand-rolls, sashimi, and nigiri were priced very cheap. But during that time there will be a wait for the sushi to come out since many tables will order it during this time.Atmosphere is nice and cozy, and also very clean.Overall, I recommend this place for good Japanese food, and cheap happy hour sushi. Definitely will come back for sure.“

“I visited on a Thursday evening around 6:00pm and it was bustling inside! I am in between a 3 or 4 star review here; I'm unsure if it was just an off day, but my sushi rice was a fairly hard. It had the taste of day old rice / not fresh. It was unfortunate since the fish itself was great! The miso soup came with our meal and was delicious. The server was very attentive and food came out quickly.“

“OEC is the best place around Noblesville and Westfield for walk in walk out sushi or hibachi. You can go to a place like Nori or Benihana or somthing and get some really good sushi or hibachi, but it is 4 times the price, if not more, and it is an entire evening. I love this place for it's quality, price and convenience. I would recommend their sushi rolls. ?“

“This place is top notch food with top notch service. Our waiter was beyond accommodating and so helpful when choosing what sushi rolls we wanted. He even was able to modify something for us based on our taste. I had a crispy tempura roll and a California roll, both classics, but great! My friend had a smoked salmon roll and decided that might be their new go to roll! The spring rolls were small, but perfect size to share between two people. The sweet sauce to dip was a great addition. The place is big, but has low ceilings so it feels cozy and small, but in a good way. There is a pedestrian entrance off 116th, but if you park (they have a lot) then you'll actually end up going in the back of the restaurant. We will be returning!“

“The food was pretty good. Lots of different things to try. It was easy for my disabled teen to get around with their walker inside the building but the disabled parking had a curb that we had to lift their walker over.Wheelchair accessibility: It was easy for my disabled teen to get around with their walker inside the building but the disabled parking had a curb that we had to lift their walker over.“

“The sushi is outstanding. I eat sushi once a week and Chiba is now my new goto place for serval reasons. The bar area is in a separate building with a quaint seating area and a great vibe. The owner Keith is very involved with running the business and doing whatever is necessary from making drinks, taking orders and running plates. Keith is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Chiba and don't miss the spicy tuna and spicy Salmon. Keith makes a mean Sazerac too. I will definitely be back!“
