“On a recent trip to Chicago from Canada, my friends and I decided to cross the border into Indiana, just to check it off our list since it was so close. We stopped at the Hard Rock Casino, and I won the rock-paper-scissors game to pick the restaurant. I chose Council Oak Steaks and Seafood and wasn’t disappointed.

I ordered the Tuna Tataki and a half-dozen oysters. Coming from Vancouver, where we have incredible seafood, I was impressed—the tuna and oysters were just as good as anything I’ve had back home. Council Oak gets my recommendation!“

“Looking for a great dinner experience? Mesler Snoasis did it for me and my birthday guest (12/26). We arrived at the Sophy Hotel Lobby entrance. The luxurious and contemporary decor with a wall to wall fireplace was a beautiful ambiance. We immediately began posing for pictures, while waiting for our reservation time to arrive. Dinner outside in the heated igloo “Snoasis”. From start to finish it was a great experience. Igloo was beautifully decorated, cozy with music from the record player. Our appetizers and dinners was delicious (seafood; beef & chicken). The staff is attentive. Our waiter Michael is very professional and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us in making a delicious choice. Thanks Mesler, I will be back and I’m sure my guest will also. Everyone enjoy it.“

“I came twice on two separate occasions and the food was excellent both times. I’ve only had an Italian beef, and mozzarella sticks from here. The mozzarella sticks were ok, but they were cold when they got to me so I haven’t tried them fresh from the store. The Italian beefs never disappoint. I only come for a beef when I want a good one.“

Just a heads up, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing, there is very limited seating. 10 seats I'd guess. I had never been here so I didn't realize until me, and my buddy's came by. There was enough for us by the way so there was no issue for us. Most people were just doing carry out.“

“I had a birthday party on 8/29/2024 at Privilege. It was simply amazing. I just love how the staff are so pleasant and engage with the customers. The entire vibe was amazing. Maurice is great to work with when scheduling events. The venue is very clean. They now have a outdoor area for people which looks beautiful. The food was delicious. My guests raved about Privilege. Job well done!“

“Anchor Inn is an average to small size bar. What it lack in size it makes up for it in hospitality and great food. Anchor offers amazing drinks specials. Spa poker, billiards, board games, raffles and more. The bartenders are very engaging a family friendly environment. Check them out on Spa Poker on Tuesday night. “I had the Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo and it was like French kissing your fingers. The sauce was savory, you could taste the seasoning on the chicken and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. I’m cutting off sit in restaurants that have Alfredo. Sizzlin Skillet is the place to go.“
