I live on the south side of Indy, but found myself in Zionsville for a meeting—and I’m so glad I stumbled into Roasted in the Village. With so many coffee shop options nearby, this gem stood out in the best way.

From the moment I walked in, the energy was amazing. The staff was not only incredibly kind, but genuinely curious about what brought me in. The conversation felt natural and welcoming—not forced—which made the whole experience feel personal and sincere.

I set up shop for a few hours to get some work done, and the vibe was perfect: cozy, calm, and full of community. It was a joy watching the regulars filter in alongside first-timers, and the baristas treated everyone with the same friendly enthusiasm and big smiles.

I had a simple drip coffee, but their menu was packed with great options—including some really creative seasonal drinks. Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is 100% worth the stop. I’ll absolutely be back—maybe even without a meeting to bring me to this side of town!“

“The best cakes, like seriously, the BEST. Both locations are wonderful and have the kindest staff but tonight I happened to go to the Zionsville one. I promised my kiddos cake and almost had to go home empty handed due to timing but the staff made sure that didn’t happen, thank you so much! You guys made our night. “My husband stopped in and was greeted like an old time friend. The staff was inviting, friendly, and warm and gave recommendations and advice when my husband didn’t know what to order. What they didn’t know was that the night before, we were rushed to Peyton Manning children’s hospital for our daughter to have emergency surgery and our spirits were low and we were hanging on by a thread mentally for the past two days sick with worry for our daughter. Without knowing, they lifted his spirits and mood for the first time in days just by being so welcoming and friendly. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. We will be returning every single time we are in the area with our daughter. (now on the road to recovery) Thank you all for being so kind and gracious. 🥰💜“

“for those unfamiliar, it just may be time to familiarize yourself with Courses Restaurant & Bakery-Cafe at ivytech's downtown location. this is where culinary and hospitality students get to practice and hone their restaurant skills before they graduate. anyway - my son and i went last night and really enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to checking out the new menu next 8 weeks, but i'm getting ahead of myself, lol. it is located on the top floor in a beautiful space. we were lucky enough to be sat at a window and get to look over our city. i chose the banh mi appetizer and he the sweet potato salad. i would like to see that sammich on a menu somewhere - probably my favorite food from the evening. he loved the moroccan spiced sweet potatoes. i chose the churrasco beef which came with black beans and some charred veggies. while the components separately were good, what really made this dish was having a little bit of everything in each bite. the sauce seemed a bit overpowering on the steak until some veggies and/or beans were added to the bite. then it all harmonized well. he intended on ordering the chicken tagine, but decided on the paella that was added to the evening's menu. it was very rich and while he enjoyed it, he did express he wished he would have gotten the tagine. the opera torte was nice if you enjoy the taste of coffee. i do not, so he got to finish mine - which did not make him sad at all 😂 this is a difficult dessert to pull off and i thought they did a nice job as students. all in all, it was a great meal and experience! while most everything could use a bit more refinement and experience, we were very happy with the entire experience. as a former teacher it was great to see them practicing the skills they have learned in the classroom in a real life setting. all proceeds - meal price as well as tips - go towards keeping program costs down and scholarships. what an amazing opportunity for these students! can't wait for th“

I’ve lived in many states and this business is the best in Indiana! I got a tincture to put under my tongue. I had head and neck cancer so I can’t smoke. I drink the seltzers and use tincture. Everyday. Now I’m going to Judy use them because the. Buzz feels the best so I can go on with my day without being “high”. I can function and feel good all together. That’s my jam!! This the product is better than any product you can ship to Indiana. It feels clean. Do I didn’t notice they had free samples of gummy’s and I never tried their gummies before but they hit right. It’s so hard to find a quality product in Indiana. I found my place. No more online ordering and paying astronomical prices. I like to get a deal!! Their buy 3 four packs and get one free made me go with this taproom in broad ripple. I am going to buy my tincture for daily use there now. “The PTO at our elementary school has been using Cater Me Cafe to cater lunches for the staff after breaks for some time now. The lunches are delicious, the service is AMAZING, and we LOVE working with them!! We are so grateful to be able to continue to work with them!! Cannot recommend them enough ☺️“

“Quaint little coffee shop with amazingly fresh food.

Anytime were in the area we try an stop by for the braided ham and cheese bread. It's not a big portion but it's so fresh and good I can't pass it up.

Last time we were there I had a breakfast sandwhich on an everything bagel and it blew my mind. The bagel was crispy with a large folded egg, cheese and bacon. It was so fresh and delicious.

I personally don't drink caffeine, but.my wife does and always enjoys one of their fresh lattes while we're waiting.

The food can take a bit sometimes but grab a coffe and sit on the patio and have a good time. They are also.pet friendly which is a huge.plus in my book.“

“My wife and I were in Indy for a 24-hour getaway for Labor Day and looking for a good place to enjoy breakfast. We chose to check out this First Watch because they have a location in Florida that we like to visit when we are there.

We were a little surprised by how packed they were, not only inside in the dining room, but even with people waiting on the sidewalk outside. We have never seen that before at any other First Watch. We put our names on the waiting list. We were told that the wait was 30 minutes, and that they would text us when our table was coming available, so we did a little shopping a couple of stores down until it was about time.

After close to 30 minutes we were seated and warmly greeted by our server, Max, who got our drinks to us right away, and then quickly got our order in.

My wife and I were both impressed by the staff moving quickly about the room, taking great care of all of their customers.

We ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast with chicken apple sausage and an egg, avocado toast with two eggs and a side of bacon, and coffee to drink.

Our food didn’t take too long to get to our table, and everything was cooked exactly the way we asked. The flavors were great and the portion sizes were good.

Even though every table was full and the place with bustling with people, our server did such a wonderful job.

When we finished our meal we got an order of pumpkin spice donuts to go. They were delicious too!

While waiting for my to go order today, an employee took the time to chat with me, only to find out he was the owner! Such a sweetheart and so personable.
