“I had lunch today with Chamber Lady Jill. My first time at the Bunker and wow was it a great experience. The boneless buffalo wings and waffle fries were delicious and our server was awesome. We stumbled into Pats on our way back from the state park. Pat’s had been a restaurant my husband wanted to introduce to me. I love small mom and Pop owned restaurants. This one was no exception. The food is typical Midwest non-pretentious food. If you like fried food, this menu is for you. If you prefer healthy non-fried options, there are a few choices but not many. That said the service was very good. My husband did have an 8 ounce steak which surprises both as it came more like a skirt steak than an 8 ounce typical steak. I was surprised that smoking was allowed in the bar. The bar is very close to the tables . When I questioned I was told there’s no smoking in the banquet room. If cigarette smoke bothers you while you eat, this is not the restaurant for you.“
