“With only a couple Mexican restaurants in the area, there’s really not a lot of choice. In this instance, you don’t have to settle. La Mesa is excellent Mexican cuisine and, with inflation being what it is, it’s a generously priced option.

With four adults, two kids, and four margaritas, we were just above $100 before tip. Try feeding six with drinks for that price anywhere else and you’ll find that it’s easier said than done.

Everything was great. Really not a lot to highlight because it was all very solid. For the sake of critique, I would say the frozen margaritas were the lowest point of the meal, but they were still good (just not GREAT).

Make a trip if you haven’t already because this stop is worth it.“

“Had a very nice first time dining experience this evening. Party of 6. Waiter did a good job all the way around. My Sombrero Burrito was very good and the frozen margarita was just what I needed on this 105 day. I’ll be back.“

“We’ve been to this place several times and have enjoyed various meals, which have mostly been excellent. The portions are huge, including the burritos! The first time I tried the beef burrito, it was amazing—flavorful and perfectly seasoned. However, the second time, it was a bit disappointing as it seemed mostly filled with beans and lacked the flavor of my first experience, resulting in a one star reduction of my rating. Overall, though, this spot has great food, and we’ll definitely be back!“

“5 stars all because of our server. He was amazing non stop busting his Butt on a Friday night. Very polite, seated us fast took our order like a pro read it back to us ( mind you I have little ones with me, a party of 3 adults 3 kids). Kept checking on us, non stop refills, food came out fast and was delicious. He made our experience more enjoyable than the last few times we were there!!! I wish I would’ve caught his name. Very sweet kid though! 5/5 will return“

“The service and food here were both very, very good! The only downside was the echoing area we were in with a large 55th high school reunion group was so loud, many of us couldn't hear each other even seated next to each other. We managed and we had fun.

Parking: Parking lot is right outside Twisters. There are very few handicapped spots available close to the entrance door.“

I have been eating Chipotle burritos for years.. but the Al Pastor burrito that I got today was a thousand times better than any Chipotle burrito I ever had! No joke. “I was in town ,filming a movie and I came to this location after. The lady there was ao professional and kind. I know it's fast food but everyone there handle the food with care. I was impressed that I came back again today. The one lady from yesterday remembered and still gave amazing service. Also including her co-workers. Everyone on both days were fantastic. This was the best taco john's I've ever been to.“
