We ate at the Barry Road location on Jan 16, 2025. Everything was fantastic! We were immediately greeted by our waiter with chips and salsa. He took our drink order and the exceptional service just kept getting better. Drinks and chips were always full. My husband ordered the burrito and taco special and I had the Quesaburrias. Everything! The atmosphere, wait staff, and the FOOD! It was fresh, grilled to perfection, and flavorful! It was my first time there along with my brother, and Danna, our waitress, went above and beyond to answer any and all questions. Service was top notch, food delivered hot,and our drinks were never empty. Definitely recommend Tapatio II on Barry Road!

Tapatio Mexican Grill is a homey and authentic Mexican restaurant with a clean and comfortable atmosphere. The staff is friendly and great, with excellent service and food. The cooks are skilled and attentive, making it a great spot for families with kids. The restaurant is known for its fantastic food, including the Chili Verde with carnitas, Shredded Chicken nachos with grilled onions and sour cream, and the must-try chorizo. The fajitas, loaded with steak, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo, are also exceptional. The horchata, with its balanced flavor of rice water and cinnamon, is a highlight. The overall experience is excellent, with easy parking and a great atmosphere for the whole family.
