“Lauren was outstanding!!!!!! We had a group of 12 …….I made the reservation. Our tables were tucked so we could chat and not be in the mainstream. A dynamite waitress, sweet and so accommodating of whatever we asked. No goofs even with this huge group. And……..I brought two special occasion pies for dessert. She put them in the cooler. She even cut and served them for us!! I cannot compliment Lauren enough for her over the top service & kindness to us. Delicious food too!)“

“No hype here. Just good quality comfort and reliable service. I don't love this type of food on the regular, but for bar food and basics, they do a great job and have a good variety of options. Their pizzas are good, the Italian sandwich delicious, and my favorite are their homemade potato chips. Plus it's easy in, easy out, with spacious booths, perfect for taking my mother-in-law, who needs a little assistance getting around. And wear whatever you want! Oh, and no one side glances you if you (or your partner, in my case) orders a whiskey at lunchtime.“

The Burgers still rock and hand cut fries with each order! The pizza I will try out. The beer is Ice cold the place is just! Great hometown atmosphere. Great food. “Moe was amazing! She handled the entire bar/restaurant by herself on a Chiefs Sunday! She served everyone's drinks and food, cleaned up everywhere, wiped off tables if spills or anything happened, cashed out everyone tabs, literally did everything by herself! And she made it look easy, which we all know but that could not have been easy! I really appreciate her and her hard work!

“Date night. Great place to go. Huge selection of drinks and awesome food. I had a salad with salmon that was one of the vest salads i have ever had and my boyfriend had a bourbon burger and said it was "perfect". We had the loaded spud app and shared the pretzel dessert....the best beginning and ending we could want. Our server, Heather, was so sweet and talked us through a lot of our options. She was super attentive. We will definitely be heading back!“

“I love The Ship! It has become our ladies night out location, with dancing and drinks. The service is always on point. Mazzy always has a great smile, wicked sense of humor, and laugh that fills the room. Kelly supports the fun, and keeps our glasses filled. They are a huge part of why we keep coming back. The live music and inclusiveness makes it feel like family.“

“Cool hidden spot!! Entrance is in the alleyway and it’s cool, it feels like you’re going into a secret spot 🤫. It’s a nice restaurant. We went during the Buona sera night that they started doing on Sundays. It was awesome. They have two kinds of pasta they rotate out each week, a baked and a fresh pasta🍝 . Delicious!!! The olive oil cake was great too. 🍰Super moist. Would definitely recommend it all!!! Waiters are chill and super nice too! Need to come back for the normal food!“

“This is a great little dive bar. I stopped in yesterday with a friend who needed some cheering up. They had Dunkle on tap which was great. My friend had the Orange Crush cocktail and said it was fantastic. I ordered a salad and a Rueben. The salad was better than any I have had recently- super fresh and their ranch dressing was perfection! The Rueben was excellent as well!“

“Went to Hyvee today for a quick breakfast and coffee with my dad, and the manager JUSTIN and waitress KELCIE were fantastic. It was very busy saturday morning and I could tell they were doing their best to make sure all customers were being served in a timely manner. Justin even came back to check on how we were doing after our meals came. I've been in customer service industry for 15+ years, and they really stood out. Thanks Justin and Kelcie ! we will be back“

“The food was great but I wouldn’t come here on an evening of you want good service. My husband and I did a tasting tour near by and wanted something to eat before we headed back to the Air BnB. Immediately you could tell how the experience was going to be when we didn’t order drinks right away and didn’t see our server again for about 15 minutes. She was very obviously more interested in paying more attention to customers that ordered drinks right away. She didn’t give her name otherwise I would I mention here. We only got one water and she didn’t come back to us again. We went to go to the hostess to try to pay our bill, ended up stopping her as she was leaving the bar. I give 2 stars out of 5. That’s only because the food was really good. I don’t think I would come back here. Maybe during the day would be better but I don’t know if I’d come here again anyway.“

“Had the cheese fries and they were awesome! Cheese sauce was flavorful (not the same old cheese sauce that others use). The fries stayed crunchy even with the sauce over them. Also had a bacon/cheeseburger that was very flavorful. And of course the giant hot wings. Their homemade blue cheese dipping sauce was very good, not overpowering. Great service even though it got crowded. I Highly recommend!“

(1) Tasty food -the fries were crunchy and fluffy and flavorful, and the burger was juicy and plump and had a good amount but not too much of sauce
(2) The prices are very fair
(3) The interior is not too loud, though that might would change if there were more people
(4) We asked for the BLT to have extra-crispy bacon, and they did a good job at that
(5) The portion size is just about right

Cons:
(1) The chairs are in bad shape and ripped with stuffing spilling out in some cases

(1) I went in with low expectations, as I hadn’t heard anyone really ever mention this place, and so many of their chairs were ripped or in bad shape. But I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was“

“Called ahead to make sure the patio was dog friendly. Catered to us and out dog so well! Food (Teriyaki salmon bowl and Baja tacos with blacked shrimp) was great so was the spicy bloody mary and beer (on Pubpass!). Nice cold water for the pup! Would return 😀“

“We had our wedding and celebration at The Summit Grill in Lee’s Summit last night. WOW!!! I cannot give this place and their employees enough kudos. Shana, the event coordinator was exceptional and very responsive. The food was so good….everyone raved about how much they loved it. We did an appetizer buffet and chose a veggie tray, spin dip, chicken wings, chicken sliders, cheeseburger sliders and steak street tacos. The two dedicated bartenders we had were the very best! We had the back bar and outdoor area with a fire pit. It was above and beyond what we expected. I give this place the highest recommendation for any event. Also, their happy hour can’t be beat! Thank you Summit Grill for making our wedding celebration phenomenal!“

“Andrew and his team in the Market Grill are amazing! We came in on Saturday to feed our football team in between games and they did not disappoint! Food was fresh and tasted great. They let us spread out in the top seating area so our kids and families could sit and eat comfortably while we warmed up from the freezing rain and cold. Highly recommend them and will plan on stopping again the next time we play football nearby!“
