“We did carry out last night, my first time. I love BBQ and this is now in my top 5, of all the places I’ve been in town. Really good quality meat, I love that their menu has lots of unique options different from others, easy access location. Next time we will dine in, the restaurant space seems great. Their specials look awesome too.Got the Texas ranger sandwich, pulled pork, fries, onion rings, and corn. All was excellent“

“Went for a simple dinner and drinks with friends. There was a decent dinner rush we came in towards the end of on a Saturday evening at 730 but no wait. We enjoyed the tatchos and pretzel sticks with a few drinks before ordering burgers and the salmon blt. Food was good but we really liked the appitizers. Our server was still training but on her own and she was friendly and helpful and did a great job. They are open until 10 on sat but we were the last people there and left at 9pm. The vibe was good with others there and no one was rushing us but it felt odd to be so empty at 9pm. We will go back because we liked the food and service, but may go a bit earlier next time.“

“So heres the thing....I order from La Cubana fairly often. Everytime I complete the order i sit and drool patiently waiting for my sandwich to arrive because its absolutely incredible....then! i ordered my sandwich this evening and it arrived and when i opened the box the bread kind of looked a little burnt! So of course i was like OH NO ! i hope its still good.... then i took a few bites and i realized that maybe they did this as a favor because I'm such a loyal customer, because it somehow tasted even better!....La Cubana.....you never EVER let me down! Basically, people, if you don't order the Cuban Sandwich from this place with their fried mashed potato and beef balls as a side (with whatever that sauce that comes with them is cause its just incredible)....you are downright out of your mind and missing out in life........“

“Up-Down quickly became a KC classic. Everyone will find a game they enjoy and every game is only 25 cents (via tokens bought at the bar). The bar is expansive and the rooftop patio is a great place to enjoy the city views. If you're hungry you can grab a slice of pizza inside.“

“I went for Sunday brunch and everything was spectacular. I shared the esquites, queso fundido, and ceviche, and for my entree I had the chilaquiles. For dessert, we shared the arroz con leche, and I would recommend everything on that list. Drinks were tasty and refreshing, and the service was excellent. 100% you should eat at this restaurant, Roman creates excellent dishes and takes his time to plate the food beautifully. You can tell he cares about his food, restaurant, and customers.“

“Kyle owns this great KC gem. It’s a clean and friendly atmosphere in the heart of KC. Beer, whiskey, wine, no cocktails. Kyle is a beer lover but won’t steer you wrong with you spirit selections! I had a great time Chatting with him and trying Penelope and Barrel Craft bourbons!“

“Was really good! Some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Came in during Sunday happy hour after 4 and was told all cocktails are $2 off, however got charged full price for one of hours. Bartender was too busy to ask about it after we got the itemized receipt. Overall, delicious. Just wish we would have gotten the full special.“

“You come here after you have had dinner to get some GREAT choices for all kinds of draft. They pour the new Boulevard strawberry wheat that was smooth and so good. Lots of gathering space and cool industrial atmosphere. You can’t get food here, but any type of craft beer is here. Sea Dog on draft is here as well—awesome! This is where you want to meet up with all your friends to laugh and tell stories as you enjoy a drink or two or three.“

“We were apart of a large team dinner after a long day of soccer. Pizza was ready soon after arriving and they were super friendly. Staff came over often to talk to my kids and offer them samples of other things. Free arcade games were a big hit.“

“I stopped in for a quick bite for lunch and was surprised with how good the food was. Looking online I thought they had a few more options for food but I think in the recent months they might have taken a few things off the menu. I ended up ordering the Thai chicken flatbread and eggplant fries as a side. Be aware the Thai chicken flatbread was a bit spicy but I still enjoyed it. I absolutely loved the eggplant fries. It came with a side of marinara and side of garlic aïoli. Both were great options to dip the fries in but I preferred the marinara. They showcase a lot of KC beers in their taproom which I enjoyed but I will say they had a few that they were out of when we visited unfortunately. This included a sour that I was really excited to try, hopefully next time I will be able to give it a go. The service was great. They got us in and out of there and probably 30 minutes and for lunch that's pretty dang good.“

“Fun Bar & Grill. We came for the 1/2 price appetizer, happy hour special, and we were not disappointed. Ordered the fried mushrooms and fried pickle spears. Both were cooked perfectly, hot out of the fryer, and delicious. The sauces are also really good, truffle aoli and buttermilk ranch. The best part, though, was the very large mushrooms. We will go back for them again and again. Service was stellar!“

“It's alright. Not great sushi but definitely not bad. A bit pricy for what it is, probably due to its central Brookside location. Sister restaurant to Jarocho which is a delicious Mexican style seafood restaurant. Wife is Japanese, husband is Mexican. The chirashi bowl was nice, lunch-only though.“

“Based on my son's recommendation, we decided to try this Fortune Wok. We had a very good experience. Service was great, and portions were large. My only complaint was with the Egg Drop Soup. It was not as rich and flavorful as others I have tried. It had bits of chicken and carrots and was just OK.“

“We went to Brick House for a large party of 10 for brunch. We were seated outside and the weather was nice. Our waiter was super nice and patient. He was attentive to our drinks and constantly refilled our bottomless mimosa. I got the jalapeño bloody mary and it was so yummy! It was the right amount of spice and after 2 drinks, it got me feeling great! I also got the potatoes and it was a decent portion. It was loaded with eggs, tomatoes, and cheese. A worker named Mido caught us at the end and gave my friend a rose, a shirt, and a make shift tin foil rose? It was a nice birthday surprise but I saw him give other girls the same so I'm sure it is a common thing haha. Overall, we had a great experience. Good for big groups!“

“I'm not a huge fan of sports bars but when your in Kc you gravitate toward BBQ. Glad I made it past the sports part because the food was great and service at the bar was top notch. Highly recomend the Carolina pulled pork the slaw realy set it off and be sure to try the spicey sauce.?? ps they have Dunkel on tap .“
