“The Wise Guy has officially become our downtown KC go-to! 🍕✨ The pizzas are downright addictive, the happy hour is spot-on, and the vibe is always lively. We’re consistently impressed by every single member of the team — from the hosts to the bartenders, servers, and owners — their warmth and hospitality shine every time. Just last night, we brought in a large group, and they went above and beyond to create the most magical evening for all of us. Bonus: it’s located right on the KC Streetcar line, which makes getting there a total breeze! 🚋🙌“

“I had not been to Fazoli's in YEARS, but I decided to give it a try because it's close to my new job. I got the spaghetti with meatballs and a slice of pepperoni pizza, and everything was delicious! I was even impressed by the service. It was a young guy named Joseph who really should be working in a full-service restaurant because he would make great money.
If you're craving Italian food for lunch and you don't want to spend a lot of money or time, Fazoli's is the place!“

“Ragazza is my favorite restaurant. We’ve been several times. Tonight we had Liz as a server and Channing helped out as well. Both of them were awesome. The food.. as always was awesome. Drinks superb. If you haven’t tried Ragazza you should. The Eggplant parm is my favorite but everything is honestly delicious.“

“Riccos is the only place I know where I can go order a BLT the bacon is so crispy without asking for it to be prepared that way. It’s amazing! Tonight the tomatoes were clearly homegrown. It was the best BLT you can get in Kansas City. The Keylime martini is one of my favorites you can’t go wrong at Riccos.“

“We were sad to see Italian Delight close after the pandemic, but thrilled that it has been resurrected as Avelluto’s — and we couldn’t be happier! The food is authentically Italian and absolutely delicious, all at a great price point. The pizza leans New York–style, available by the slice or the whole pie.
They don’t serve wine and have just a few beer options, but that’s easy to overlook given the quality of the food. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, fitting for a counter-service restaurant where you order at the front and they bring your meal to the table.
Overall, Avelluto’s is a fantastic spot for all walks of life — casual, friendly, and full of flavor. Highly recommend!“

“Great Happy Hour. Food was amazing. The meatballs were some of the best. Can't go wrong with truffle fries. We also had the sausage pizza and the pear bruschetta. Both very good as well. “Concise menu that rocks, the seafood pasta dish was one of the singular best pasta dishes I've ever had. Chicken parm is huge, the rigatoni in olive oil and garlic served with the dish was superb, however the chicken was way heavily breaded and would have been better with just and egg wash and some breadcrumbs pounded into it and fried, the rest of the preparation was excellent. Parm like pizza is a ballet, too much of anything can make it less appealing. Our server was sweet, smart, kind and cool and excellent at her job.“

“Always love Olive Garden. We had 8 people and two servers. One person had the all you can eat soup and salad. He had to ask multiple times for a bowl of soup. I had to ask multiple times for water my water to be refilled. Some of the orders were wrong. But as always the food was great and the atmosphere cheery as usual.“

“I haven’t been to Fazolis in nearly 20 years and decided to try it again today. My family was impressed with the quality, taste and value for what we got. We ate the cheese pizza, spaghetti, Alfredo and an Italian sub. We ordered it online ahead of time and they had it waiting for us on time. We will be returning!“

“I went to throw something into the trash/ash can outside the front door. There were broken beer bottles in there sticking up that I didn't see. I got a small cut on my finger. Asked for a band aid and antiseptic. No one was very interested. I did get a band aid. Food was good. Service fine. I wanted desert, but it didn't come up before the end of service. I moved on.“

“We tried Imo's for the very first time tonight on our way back home. We all loved it, including our tired and picky children. The food was absolutely delicious. “Great experience & I brought three pre-tweens with me. This could’ve been a terrible time anywhere but they were so thoughtful & considerate. The chef came by with treats for the kids & the food was excellent. Would def try it for a girls night.“
