“Roasterie is always one of my favorite coffees and I love this location of their cafe. The baristas are always so nice and friendly and the vibe is just absolutely relaxed and wonderful. They always have a good amount of stock for beans and the shaded patio is always nice when it's a little hotter (but a little less so when it's windy). My only sadness is that I always seem to get there too late in the day for the delicious pastry from Ibis but that's a me problem, if we're being honest.“

“Today, I took a group of clients from Alphapointe to the Nelson Atkins Museum. The clients are visually impaired. We completed a tactile tour and a tactile art class. The staff was incredible! The instructors gave verbal descriptions of the building, verbal descriptions of the art, and allowed us to touch the art with gloves. The instructors were well prepared, patient, and flexible with the needs of the clients. They even met with me ahead of time to discuss the needs of the clients.
