“Absolutely amazing food with incredible service. Tameeka was our server and she made sure to show us the ropes since it was our first visit. we will be making this spot our regular place when coming to the city. If only we could get one in Garnett Kansas.“
“Small cozy restaurant with amazing food and great service. We had a dinner for our group of 22 and everyone was happy with the choice. My sea bass was exquisite, for appetizers we had bruschetta and chipotle black bean dip. Delicious! I would have preferred the bruschetta with raw tomatoes (not cooked) and more basil taste, but it was good. Great culinary experience!“
“This place is AMAZING. We found it by accident as we were driving through on our way north. Hands down the best vegan soul food I have ever tasted. Collard greens were complex and flavorful, the corn bread was absolutely luscious, and the sauce on the vegan brisket was out of this wold. If they were in Minneapolis I'd eat there every single day. The space was bright and cheerful and the staff was incredibly welcoming. What a treat!“
“My wife ordered food from this place by accident. Not sure how she did this but she did. All I know is that two veggie burritos were ordered. I ate on for dinner and the second one for lunch the next day. They were both excellent! So tasty and can't wait to try other menu items here. Keep up the good work!“
“I’ve had Gus’s at one other location before and was happy. This location keeps right up and served up delicious chicken, beans, and Mac and cheese. I also really love the fried okra here. The waitress was accommodating for my elderly grandfather who doesn’t move well and sat us near the entrance. My drink never got below half full. Loved it so much I bought a tshirt. Hopefully I can come back sometime soon with my whole family. This was way better than Joe’s bbq next door.“
“Good Mac and cheese place. We got the BBQ Mac which was of course super good. The BBB Mac which had SO MUCH bacon, it was a bit sweeter but still really good especially with all the bacon. And we got the fried Mac bites. Those were decent. Breading was super good on the and super crispy.Place is small with limited seating. Defiantly designed for the corporate clientele in the area. Self serv kiosk to order and looked to be one person behind making the food. He was supper apologetic of the wait (we didn’t wait long. Maybe 10 min). Nice little quick bite but better as take out instead of sitting to eat.“
“Matthew took great care of watching out for food allergies and offering suggestions on meals. The Edame Guacamole dip on gluten-free pita bread a grwat starter. Steak salad was tasty and rare just right with meat on the tough side which was surprising as it looked perfect. The pot roast dip sandwich was very good. A great date night was had. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Several choices we'll marked and your server will be happy to point you to good options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten, pork, almonds, mango, dairy and chocolate. Still plenty to choose from or options to make a dish safe for you.Parking: Street parking full and was able to park in free parking garage right next door. Plenty of lighting and felt safe.“
“We stopped in just before 10:00 p.m. and they squeezed in an order of fried mushrooms and a Reuben. The fried mushrooms were amazing. The French fries were terrific. And who doesn't love a Reuben. We really liked the laid-back atmosphere and our server did a great job. Driving up to the strip mall looking front, we were a bit worried, but it was everything we were hoping to find.“
“This Restaurant was way above my expectations! The food was amazing, a super creative menu, fresh, hot, and flavorful. We had the best experience. Tried the stir fried noodles, sticky rice plate, cucumber salad, and the stick rice desert! Wow, it was all so good, and the staff were incredibly nice, and went above and beyond for us! Can’t wait to go back :)“
“We decided to make this a brunch stop for RW 2024 and I'm so glad we did! They had two options, a biscuit sandwich and banana bread french toast. We got both and split them - they were both so yummy but the chicken sandwich was mind blowing! I hate chewy chicken but it was super tender with a buttery biscuit. The french toast was so yummy, and the hashbrown side was excellent!! Cant wait to be back soon!“
“Been wanting to come here for years. I worked on Metcalf and drove by every day. I was always on my to, or from work. Now I'm retired and go to breakfast 2-3 times a week. I had the Country Scramble. My friend had the Cowboy Omlete. Both were delicious. Atmosphere was quiet, quaint. Service could not have been any better. The coffee never ran dry. I'll be back again next week. Good job, Sante Fe Cafe!!!“
“Absolutely everything on the menu is fantastic. The farm-to-table food is generally higher quality and more ethically sourced, and kitchen staff do an incredible job a maintaining flavor and richness without adding unnecessary greasiness to the food.Cocktails are not cheap (but reasonable), and crafted to high standards without shorting you on spirit.Highly recommend.“
“My friends and I meet here for happy hour every few months, and often stay for dinner. The prices are great. The happy hour food choices are a bit limited but no matter. There are plenty of great menu choices. The staff is always super friendly. We love it. Easy parking too.“
“I visites for the first time earlier this week and had a great time. I popped in for a quick post work snack and had a cup of gumbo, which was fantastic and the Berry Mule. Excellent drinks, excellent service, excellent quick bites. Not too stuffy, easy to access, great atmosphere. You’d love it!“
“We tried Lulas today based on reccomendations and I have to say this place is phenomenal. Everything was delicious but the highlights were the green beans & ham as well as the biscuits. I'm not typically a biscuit person and I could eat these every day. They source as much of their food locally as possible which I love.We tried the fried chicken and fried spare ribs. 10/10 we will be back.“
“My husband and I booked The Hungry Hatch food truck for our wedding. We loved it! The anesthetic of the food truck complemented the simple and relaxed vibe we were going for.One of the reasons we picked the Hungry Hatch was because of the variety of healthy and fresh menu items. We're both vegans and some of our guests also had dietary preferences/restrictions. It was nice to have options for everyone! Some of our guests were skeptical, but several family and friends told us after how much they enjoyed their food! Plus their prices were reasonable compared to other plant-based options we explored.Angela was great to work with! I had a lot of questions before signing the contract and leading up to the wedding. She was patient in answering all of them. Prompt in responding even when I wasn't. She and her staff were awesome the day of! They served everyone quickly and were good sports about the rain too.“
“I came in on a Thursday afternoon I first realized they have a good selection of home sauces more then I expected. I had a hard time choosing between the 6 wing meal and the chicken and waffles but I went with the 6 wing meal and I got the Korean BBQ sauce on the wings and buffalo dipping sauce. The food came out in like 4 minutes (food is cooked to order). When I say this I mean it, the Korean BBQ is the best Korean BBQ sauce I've had from a fast food place and I'm surprised they had it. the skin on the wings was a little tough but that's just a preference thing, the sauce was so tangy, sweet, and spicy I loved it. The only thing I didn't like was the fries, the texture and crunchiness of them was good but there was barely any seasoning on them and they tasted plain I was expecting more flavor when I saw them dusted in whatever they put on their fries.I am definitely coming back to try the chicken and waffles and other sauces“
