The portions are generous, the presentation is excellent, and there is a depth of flavor that you simply don’t get from typical fast-casual Mediterranean spots. Even the fries I had with my gyro were worth writing home about 👌🏻 What really sets Darna apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff are welcoming, attentive, caring, and genuinely helpful. You can tell there is real care and attention behind everything they serve. “I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!“

“Just had holy land for lunch and it was the best meal I've eaten in as long as I can remember. I had the appetizer combo and it was perfection. Not only was it delicious and full of flavor, it was also beautifully plated. I wish I would have taken a picture before enjoying it fully. I usually get the gyro meat and hummus but decided to change it up today and take the gyro meat to go this time. If I lived closer I'd eat here everyday.“
