“We have been going to the Las Vaquitas Mexican Restaurant since Caesar and Connie recruited their family and opened their doors to Derby residents. It’s rare to find a place where the owners are in the kitchen and on the floor making sure every guest feels welcome. The food is incredible and service is professional and friendly. I thought the idea of covering the check of a few of their patrons was a sweet holiday idea. When it happened to us, we were incredibly grateful. Huge thanks to the entire staff for showing their appreciation to a couple of regular customers. Please support this LOCAL restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!”

“We enjoyed the pickle fries with ranch for starters. Kids had chicken fingers and the Mac n'Chz, both very good. We also had chicken sandwich w/ sweet potato tots, and Philly steak sandwich with onion rings and they are all delicious! Although we live in Winfield, we will be back again for more! each dish was thoughtfully done well with the perfect amount of seasoning. (not too greasy like some places). “We had a tabletop of 8 tonight for a special occasion. Miranda was energetic, friendly and amazing at her position. She checked on us many times and gave us time to enjoy our meals and drinks. Great employee and we loved her!! The food was fantastic, the baklava and creme brulee was yummy.”

“Lil' Deuce is my favorite place to get ice cream. Although I wish it didn't cost so much but I still go because it is the best place around to get that fix😉🤤. It's just a place you have to go check out its pretty awesome flavors rotate all the time my favorite is the Fat Elvis which I always happen to go when it's not in...lol but a ton of other great flavors and you can even sample.”

This was a very pleasant experience! Our drinks were well made. Tasty and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. The rolls were not hot, but they were different and delicious. The house salad is not iceberg, be aware. The chicken flats were cooked perfectly as was my ribeye steak. I asked for the Aloha marinade. It's was wonderful. It's Red Rock Canyon in Derby. No big deal, I just wanted to make sure my card wouldn’t be charged. Glad they are taking the safety of their employees seriously. Kaylin Knopp was so amazing! She went above and beyond, made sure that my order was canceled in the system and the kitchen. She was so nice and took the time to make sure we were taken care of completely.”
