“We had a great time! It’s hard not to with the fun amenities. Everyone else was having a great time too, so that made the climate all the more better. The pool and facilities felt clean. I can’t say I have been to a place quite like it! Nice spot off the lake, cool water, and a nice bar. The food was your basic bar food, but we had a few drinks in us so it was none the less great. I definitely wouldn’t eat there if I hadn’t gone for the pool amenities. One of our best days this summer, and I would gladly return!”

“First time at a Runza, and it was great. The service was fantastic, and the lady at the counter helped us with what to order. The food was out quickly and was still hot after we made it home around 10 to 15 mins. We don't have these where I am from, but I will definitely come back and get a cheese runza and frings anytime!”

“When I walked it I was back in Paris! Authentic taste. It was a sweet reminder of lovely memories. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is perfect. Sit and eat and have a cup of coffee and visit with friends. I took lots of samples home with me. They traveled well back to Arkansas. I kept in my fridge and popped in the microwave, and they were perfect for a week. Then all my samples were gone...lol”

“The food was amazing as always, but the coffee was bitter. I a hoping for several cups of coffee to go along with breakfast, but it was so bitter i was afraid I would end up with horrible heartburn.
The service was spot on. I haven't received such great service at busy breakfast restaurants in a very long time. I am impressed. I will definitely go again, i just won't be ordering coffee.”

“We were visiting from DC and arrived 3 minutes before closing. The owner could have rightly apologized, but he instead welcomed us in and happily prepared our orders. The food itself was every bit as good as any Mediterranean restaurant we’ve eaten at in DC. We had several different dishes. We definitely will return every time we are in Lawrence.”

“After struggling a few weeks to find a party room that fit in my budget and had availability to host my mom’s small retirement party I finally landed on Murf’s. I, personally, had never been there before but had heard a few good things- so I decided to book with them. Our whole experience was great!! Lauren was our server and she was extremely friendly and gave us excellent service. She interacted with the few kids that were there which was so nice to see. The room was also free- which was a godsend!! Food was good, I got the chicken tenders and ate some fried mushrooms. Room size was good, we had about 25 people and there was plenty of space for more. All around- a great place to have a gathering. I will definitely be back and will definitely have other parties here.”

These less than five star reviews are picky people playin’ games because it’s unbelievable how crispy the breading, how juicy the chicken, and how gooey the sauce.

It’s worth paying more than usual for lunch, plus it’s hard to eat all of even the smallest order of chicken.

Not a lot of room inside the place but benches outside, bus stops along the road, and curbs everywhere to sit down and devour. You won’t want spectators, but neither would you notice them once you open the box.

“Went to celebrate my husbands birthday Wednesday night, my server, Megan, was immaculate. She had a big group seated by us but continued to provide excellent service to us as-well as the other tables around us. Our steaks were excellent, and the manager even comes to check up on you. Couldn’t say better things about Jason, Megan, and my entire experience! Definitely will be celebrating more occasions here!”
