“Very pleasantly surprised by the fantastic entrees! We decided to give wandering vine a try for date night. I did a flight of their whites with distinction. The wines were different and I appreciate that there’s so much variation on the wine menu. I would’ve loved to see some additional fuller body whites in the wine by the glass options but still they have some really interesting choices available. We had the lemon ricotta focaccia, strip steak and the lobster cavatelli. The focaccia was well-made, though the tomato chutney is lost with the ricotta and basil. Overall, it was tasty, but I’d probably try a different starter next time. There was a bit of a weight for our entrées, but as I said, when they arrived, we were quite surprised. The steak was absolute perfection. The outside had a flavorful crust while the interior was a beautiful medium rare. The Demi glaze on top was a nice touch. As for the sides, we had the mushrooms and potatoes. I didn’t get the Madeira aïoli from the mushrooms and the potatoes needed additional seasoning, but both were decent. The lobster cavatelli was outstanding. I was full, but kept sneaking a few more bites because it was too good to resist. Typically beats are my least favorite food on the face of this planet, but the golden beats mixed with the asparagus and sage cream sauce went well together. We finished with some coffees as we were too full to try a dessert. We will definitely be back.“

“It started slow, the. The manager came to our table to assure we had water. He was super friendly. We split the calamari and crab dip/toast as appetizers. We split the chicken Marsala for an entree. All food came quickly and was hot and tasty. The Marsala w the green beans and roasted mushrooms was fantastic. The mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. It was a great experience and we will be dining there again soon. The manager made our visit super special“

“We're out of towners looking for a bite to eat near our hotel and stumbled upon Barley's. Our waiter was great and attentive. Food and brews were delicious. We also loved the live music. Perfect date night.“

“I had the Omaha Reuben with French Fries. Your choice of Corned Beef or Turkey, I got the CB. Very generous portions. The Thousand Island dressing complimented the tangy sauerkraut. The cheese was warm and nicely melted over the tender Corned Beef. The bread held up well and did not get too soggy. The fries had a nice homestyle flavor and just crispy enough.

Overall, a great Reuben and a great value at $17. Very filling so no room for dessert. Friendly service and one of my best hotel meals. None better anywhere if you love Reubens.“

“I have been eating here for years and food and service is usually very good. I am never sure of their new hours since Covid. However, I was told by the front-line lady that because it was 15 minutes before closing I had to place my order to go. There were people there, still eating. Were they going to be asked to leave at closing? In the past I was never denied dine-in service.“

“Have always liked this location and sit in the bar area. When Peter is the bartender he is always attentive and friendly, asking about out pet greyhound and vacations. The Happy Hour menu is well worth the price for food and drink.“

“Got in from a late flight and headed over here with my girlfriend to grab a bite. We popped in right before the kitchen closed and our bartender Nicole made sure that they kept it open for us to get our food in. Excellent and attentive service from Nicole throughout our visit, she was great. We got the BLT, the keto steak bowl, and the spicy chicken bites appetizer. BLT was 4 stars, the bowl and chicken bites easily 5 stars - I’d go back just for those. They have a huge beer selection as well. All in all a top notch spot when you’re craving bar food and a cold drink.“

Marla and the staff took great care of us with prompt service and delicious food. The Blue Moose is a great choice for any group coming over from the Garmin Soccer Complex.
