“This is "the place to be" in Hillsdale Kansas. Very friendly people, great service, and cold beer.We had a memorial service for my brother down the street in the cemetery, but the cold wind kinda spoiled that! So we re-gathered at the Hillsdale Tavern over a few adult beverages. We came from Canyon Lake Texas, Texarkana Texas, Whitesboro Texas, Palmyra Missouri, and Boulder Colorado.What a great place for celebrating your brother's life! A perfect place for rembering a life well lived.“

“I would recommend the butcher shop in addition to the restaurant. Both have high standards. Tom recently helped me pick the best steaks for a birthday celebration and everything was perfect. I really appreciated the excellent service and outstanding ribeyes. Had the steak flight recently and every bite was a treasure.“

“Shelly Gustin and I love this bar... We have lived in town for a very long time, and nearly a year ago we "rediscovered" the Hideout. This place epitomizes us folks of Spring Hill. You may not know anybody when you go in at first, but I guarantee you will know someone before you leave. Everyone there are great people from the patrons to the bar backs. Totally recommend The Hideout to everyone.“
