Love this place great people great food
I know this restaurant is probably older, but this Long John Silver’s is one of the most well-kept locations I’ve been to. No sticky tables, bottles, or greasy floors. Since the Long John Silver’s in my city closed, I decided to visit this one while enjoying a day out with the family in Topeka. Updating this review to remove a star after I got my order today for a family pack with 4 fish sandwiches, 2 of them with no tartar sauce and no pickles. All of these have tartar sauce, none of them have pickles, and all of them have CABBAGE. I hate cabbage. I even confirmed the customizations at the speaker when I arrived (it was a mobile order). While some employees were trying to keep up, the overall atmosphere felt chaotic at times. The fill yourself condiments were empty, and the napkin dispenser was broken. Despite these concerns, customers still enjoy the food, especially the hush puppies, which are fried to perfection and evoke childhood memories. With free parking, a kids menu, and wheelchair accessibility, this restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience worth revisiting, especially for those who appreciate the nostalgic flavors.
