“Love, love, love Poblanos. I've been eating their fabulous rice bowls since they had their first location on W. Central many years ago. I'm sure the rest of their food is excellent too, but I love, love, love their rice bowls and choice of ingredients - white or brown rice, beef (or chicken or other protein), sauteed veggies, cheese, cilantro, black olives, peppers and choice of 5 salsas varying in heat level (i choose the middle one which has a little heat but not too much.) . Be sure to have them put lots of extra broth from the meat on your bowl. I had a rice bowl at Fuzzy's the other day and it doesn't come close to the delicious rice bowls at Poblanos. I'd never order one of theirs again.“

“Picture this okay.
I am the whitest white dude. Not a drop of anything in my skin besides pure Wonder bread. I drive past this joint, take one look at it and tell myself "these guys are going to have the most bussin tacos ever"
I turn around, I go back. The drive-thru, is broken. So I think, "I'll just go inside" No problem.
They only speak Spanish. I know barely any Spanish. So I pull out my phone, and get Google translate fired up. I convey to them, "I've got $10, make me the best tacos you can ever make."
And boy did they deliver.
I got the three taco, beans and rice special. For $8. They gave me Carne Asada, Pollo, and the Mexican barbacoa. every single one, fire.
I will definitely be coming back. They even got me saying mucho gracias at the end there.

“Ordered two bacon breakfast burritos on the morning of 7/30/24 - wow, they were AWESOME. We came here to El Gordo after seeing the disgusting food being served for breakfast at the Staybridge Suites - life is too short to eat such garbage, LOL - El Gordo was just a couple minutes down the road, easy to order, and 1,000 times better. One of the best breakfast burritos we have ever had, too.

“I've been going to this place for a long long time. And when I was 10 years old I went to the original family restaurant on west Central in Wichita Kansas. I'm 64 now and it's always been a pleasure to come here to eat. Even seeing some of the family who used to be at the central restaurant. The food is great and the people who run it are amazing. In some ways like going back to a place that I loved as a kid. And it's really cool to get to experience all my life. I hope and pray it lives on. It's the best Mexican food ever. Thank you!!“

“I needed a last minute meal for my staff after a hiccup with a different location and you guys came in clutch! The food was delicious and we truly enjoyed the meal. I have been going here for more then twenty years. To come to find out. Why would this company only give their employees one week of vacation time for only 5, 10 years and more years of employee service. That was so apologing when I heard this. You need to do more for your employees in the number in years of service they have worked for company. Your employees friendly service and great food are what makes your company and customers come back and back to your busniess that pays your salary and employees.
I'm sure the corporate staff receive more days of then just a week. You really should think about giving more vacation time to years of service of employees. I have been told you treat employees good and they treat your company good.“
