Been coming here for a long time, some of the best donuts in town. Customer service is middle of the road at best, they staff a lot of young people who don't communicate clearly and obviously aren't experienced with the non-donut side of their menu. I will be giving them a break for a good long while since they royally screwed up a sandwich order recently. I’ve loved Winchell’s Apple fritter since I was a little kid. I still get one every so often because they were the best Apple fritter in the entire world… until just recently. They aren’t the same as they once were and it makes me sooo sad!! I mean it was pretty good but not great and didn’t have the same special flavor and texture. I hope it’s not gone forever cuz you haven’t lived until you had one of the OG Winchells apple fritter. Please bring it back.
