“I grew up on Long Island NY and now reside in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East TN with my gf, so we know good coffee spots! This charming little place just so happened to be across the street! It was our check out day after I sang the National Anthem the night before for the Florence Y'all's. I had a capuchino, my gf had a latte. Both were very good! It is my understanding the owners are Taiwanese. Historic building with tons of board games and an upper level where you can sit on the floor traditionally like their Culture. Definitely make a point to stop here on your way to Covington KY or just passing through! -dmc-“

“We hired them for our daughters wedding and they were a huge hit with all the guests. They set up quietly and fast and started serving at the cocktail hour. It was like having a little coffee shop in the corner of the reception. Highly recommend! So glad we did this!“

The only thing I found interesting was that I wasn't able to tap to pay. This is not particular to 1215. There was no parking app or ability to tap to pay for parking either. I just relocated from another city and rarely carried cards or cash.“

“Sue and Bullet are great, they are super friendly and if you stop in regularly will remember your name and even your order. The prices are relatively cheap and you get a solid amount of food. They make the best BLT around and I always make sure to check out the special on Tuesday/Thursday. If you're looking for a quick workday lunch you should definitely stop in!“

“What a CUTE coffee shop 😍😍 The inside is absolutely darling and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee and breakfast. We opted to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the beautiful weather. Super dog friendly which is always great to see. And lots of breakfast options. We got the quinoa bowl for a gluten free option and it was so good. The sausage in it was very light and everything else was very filling. They also had some fun gluten free muffins and a s'mores bar that was super tasty!! “So this is my first time writing a google review because I NEEDED to share my experience on here. I’ve been to the Mad Llama coffee shop three times and we’ve loved our drinks each time! Highly recommend the golden milk latte! ✨chef’s kiss✨ Unfortunately, they were out of the turmeric for the drink today but the wonderful barista walked me through the options of what they could make with a similar flavor profile, all while at the drive thru! In the end I asked for dealer’s choice (only place I’ve ever asked to do this) and the drink is awesome! They even had me taste the drink at the drive thru to make sure I liked it before driving off. Top notch customer service, great drinks, great prices, and friendly baristas. Overall couldn’t ask for more! Support this local small business because they really are a hidden gem! ?

P.S. I drove off quickly since my baby was crying in the back, but if the barista could tell me how to order this drink in the future, that would be AMAZING!!! ? (If it helps I was the girl in the pink hat that didn’t like peppermint or lavender)“

“We decided to stop by while we were in Cincinnati, visiting from Florida. Would highly recommend this museum! We spent 4 hours there and the whole museum was very immersive. We’ve never been to a museum quite like it! Lots of hard work was put in to this museum, for sure. You do have to pay for parking, if you park on site, but it was only about $6 for the day. We weren’t sure if we’d have to pay that again if we left and came back, so we ate lunch at their cafe. A bit expensive for a couple chicken tenders with fries, but they had plenty of seating if you bring your own lunch! Overall, we had a wonderful time!“

“Pretty much the epitome of a hole in the wall bar. The staff or bartender aren't the most social creates but that's not why you go there. The beer and drinks a dirt cheap and good. “Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. “We stopped for lunch on our way home from an event downtown. It was our first time visiting. The place is very cute and has A LOT of decorations by the way of live plants, pictures, and sports memorabilia. We sat in the brighter front room by the window. There were few folks in the place by the time we left at 1:10pm.

Our server was very friendly and accommodating, but we wished he would have introduced himself (pet peeve of mine). We ordered the mussels and frites, the Poulet Basquaise, and a side of French green beans. The mussels were very traditional with a butter, white wine, garlic, celery, and onion prep, which is my favorite. I know fries are fries, but these were some of the best we have had in a long time. The Poulet (i.e. chicken dish) is like an open-faced chicken pot-pie with mushrooms, peas, bechamel, and puff pastry. It is true comfort food that we thought needed some acid or a touch of hot sauce. It is served with a huge bed of lettuce dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette and nothing else. The French green beans were tasty and garlicy, but were not true haricots verts. They were just green beans.

Parking was easy because it was noon on a Weds., but I can see how it would be hard on the weekends.“
